It would be awesome if PO would become more about playing against different teams, and less about what team of Spade's I'm about to see. Honestly, using his team won't make you more effective. His team requires a little wherewithal and I'm tired of people rage quitting when I stall their Deoxys with Sableye, or if Restcune sets-up eight CCs and then rests.

You're not him, and he discusses his own weaknesses and tactics. You people make it too easy for me to win against you.

To everyone asking why Cradily got +2Sp.Atk from the water move, it's the doing of the hold item known as Absorb Bulb in addition to it's own Storm Drain ability.

Effect: A one-time use item that raises the holder's Special Attack when hit by a Water-type move.

Jeez. This dude that Spade is battling, really isn't good as predicting switches. Spade perfectly dodged those EQs by switching into Mismagigus several times! Honestly, after the second shadow punch, I would have switched to something else.

@darkm43 the random stat increases also include accuracy and evasion, so you could get +6 evasion in 3 turns and things like focus blast would have worse chances of hitting than a coin flip. nobody wants to be swept by a doduo or something because they basically used double team a bunch. likewise, within 2-3 turns completely unreliable moves could have perfect accuracy. all this on top of being able to attack/protect, baton pass, it's worse than speed boost on blaziken..

@TTheSilentStorm not with guts. there's no attack drop. toxic does less damage over the first few turns than burn...so if you're switching a lot it's better

@lkjkhfggd Over 2 turns, Toxic damage does a total of 18.75% damage to you. Burn does 25% damage to you over those same 2 turns. So if you're staying in for 2 turns or less, Toxic Orb is the advantageous choice.

@TheFlamingSpade That Brave Bird was insanely powerful if you think about it. Quad resist with eviolite stone and it did more than half. Although you got a crit and had 1 Moxie boost, it did quite a chunk to Magneton. And that is why you never underestimate the power of Brave Bird.

I've been wondering this for a while, but why don't you use a Flame Orb on Hariyama instead of a Toxic Orb? Guts is still activated and the attack drop that would normally happen with a burn doesn't occur. Plus, it doesn't hurt as much.

@metamaru Toxic orb hurts less the first 3 turns of damage, after 3 turns it does more damage than the fire orb. That's why he's using the toxic orb, he's not expecting to stay in long enough for the toxic to rack up that far.

@starwarrior1227 I think Spade and many others did this no tier rule when B/W first came out with the english patch. Try checking some of the really old videos of B/W Pokemon battles cause i don't exactly remember them too well

@starwarrior1227 Ubers is essentially a banlist for OU. Any pokemon is allowed. I think Moody was recently banned, but that's all I know of to be banned from Ubers.

@starwarrior1227 SicariusSanctus is right, what you're saying is pretty much ubers. Uber's isn't just about the top tier powerhouses, it's the banlist for standplay but it's also anything goes. EXCEPT for "Moody" that ability is banned even from Uber's.
