Their are 45 pieces, you start with 3 hearts kill 8 bosses so your on 11 hearts and then you have the 9 from the 45 pieces.

u can get the big wallet(600 rupees) by turning in 1 golden bug to agitha in hyrule she is in the south east part of it. turn in all of them for the giant wallet(1,000 rupees)

i'd already gotten them all, but i forgot what each one held. i looked in my guide book to answer the top one's contents, seeing as i had forgotten.

also, i managed to get the top one without stopping the platform several times. a difficult feat, but the top is also the only one whose contents reappear over time, which is useful for the magic armor.

I don't have an answer to the second, but to repair the Bridge, you need to go to the Desert from the Cannon, then look to the South-East for a tall lone structure. Approach it, and it's the missing part of the bridge. Climb up it, and you'll be able to warp it back into place.

yeah I got the second answer in the part with the windmills you have to target transform in a wolf and turn on your senses you'll see a dig spot you can find another part of the castle there's a puzzle there and if you to solve it look at the gamefaqs walktrough of the castle part 3

the trick to not getting hit is to walk along the cliff.

and that way you shuld only come across 2 gremlins the fire arrows at you, but you can pick them both off from a disctance.

if you want to put down the water quickly without having to stop, just pull out an item (usually hero's bow because it is useful for killing long distance guys)
