The girls who want to sound tough (sukeban, tomboys, etc.) do the opposite, making their voices sound deeper and a little harsh (while using different words). "Cute" is now a scene (like prep, goth, etc.), so girls who don't want to fit that clique don't make their voices like that, resulting in fewer girls having "cute voices".

I'm sooo HAPPY for this young british girl, GOOD LUCK to her and no wonder the Japanese people like her so much, the music has a very catchy tune and I just LOVE the way they dress. Also, it would be nice if she learned the language more. I was learning for a bit when I was penpals with a girl name Etsuko from Okinawa, Japan quite a few years ago. OK guys this is the secret to be famous in japan:

1- Be a girl WITH vagina

2- Be a stupid foreigner with a badly japanese/english accent.

3- Be -15 years old (they love lolis)

4- Be relatively famous on niconico or youtube.
