I love that these hijackers were either too stupid or too stubborn to even buckle in when they were imminently crashing into the ocean. That's a death sentence, above the high risk situation of trying to land on the ocean. Luckily they were right near a populated resort beach. That saved the 50. so effectively these hijackers ordered the pilot to land the plane in the middle of the ocean instead of an airport, killing them and 125 other people. Very successful hijacking!!

Listen to the crew, as inflating a life jacket inside the aircraft will essentially trap you there, pushing you to the top of the cabin which will push you under the water as the plane sinks.

And don't be scared to fly, its perfectly safe, you just shouldn't panic in an emergency on board, a standard rule anywhere.

Crashing into water is certainly a terrifying idea, and in many cases, is more dangerous than crashing into a forest or mountain on land. Inflating life jackets inside the aircraft may seem to be a good way to get prepared while you can and people who think it will pull them up to the surface if they perhaps go unconscious from the crash are mistaken.

It seems that the 125 that died lost their lives because they drowned. They inflated their jackets and that is what sealed their fates. SMH. This is sad. This is exactly why I do not want to fly any airplane. This incident, then the 9/11th plane hijackings, then flight 587, then the the plane that crashed into the hudson river.

I feel a bit sorry for the hijackers. I really do! They were prisoners and they got tortured, and they just wanted to see their families and frineds and live a new, better life. I feel sorry for them!! :(
