I don't reply to YouTube comments (just a time management thing, nothing personal).

But you can connect with me on my facebook page. The link is on the angling site.

Linked to my twitter it also carries updates from the water's edge. See you on there!

  • so much kit!

  • theres no need for heavy lines, i fish on float for tench with 3b line and have had them upto nearly 10 pounds. on feeder i never usealy go above 6 lb . only need tough lines if useing big leads and casting long distances

  • although going to a man made lakes which is stocked with fish and your bound to catch, i enjoy going to places like rivers where you are not sure what to expect. bloor thanks for the rig next time i go im defintly using this

  • hi mate, a better thing to use rather than the shrink tube to alter where the hair leave the hook is a 1 or 2mm peice of silicon tube i normally use 2 bits of about 2mm 1 just off the eye and anouther where you want the hair to leave the hook. you can get it from any takle shop an its cheaper than the shrink tube.

  • I do like your videos but how comes you dont show you reeling in the fish? Would be alot better but good job i enjoy watching your vids.

  • hey add me on face book ive tryed to add you sweet vid ive only been fishing for a few mounts and havent yet caught a carp or tench or anythink over 2lb lool :(

  • Dont worry i have been fishing for the same amount of time. i have only caught like 4 carp. biggest 7 and a half others were 5 pound and one was a half a pound crucian. Just fish the right venues and try fishing a tad deeper :)

  • y are you using a barbed hook?

  • nice one stu oi u should use worm best for tench trust i was using it in a lake they luv it

  • yeah but you have to be shaw to set your clutch right.(:

  • Yet again a great video Stewart!

Well-done on the Tench front, shame about the carp, but never mind.

Oh and why dont you try putting one rod out for carp on heavy line and the other rod for Tench and Bream, on light line?

    Great video mate!

    Keep up the good work:)

  • nice one Stewart, i 'm going to go through all these vids. i like the way you go through the rigs, a lot of people just assume you are going to know what they are on about without any explanation. by the way are you related to the JS Bloor building firm people, who i have worked with?

  • Good job Stewart nice Tench mate :-)

  • lovsly fish stew
