How to get camstudio good quality

I need to record fullscreen for what I am doing, and have a decent filesize. X-vid MPEG-4 Codec is the best sofar, but it doubles what it says the file size will be in the recorder when I'm finished recording for a half hour.

@TheSaka24 you have to download a Video compressor...I've tried MSU lossless codec and it works well..But now Xvid codec is better..

I too had the same problem!

uninstall camstudio and that codec from add or remove programs! And then download camstudio and the codec from the site again and then install camstudio first and after that install that codec! don't install that codec later! now u will be able to see the codec in that compressor option!

Lower quality and your computer will run faster depending on what your using i guess

extract the dll file (the notepad looking file with the cog wheels on it), right click it and press install and install it. Then exit camstudio and re enter it and go to the video options and it is there.
