I couldn't agree with you more! I've been thinking that for a while now. I'm 29 and I think I first started to realize money was worthless and the cause of our problems when I was around 12 or 13. I think everyone knows deep down, but don't have the will to try to do something about it. If we had a good alternative plan and sold it to the public, we could get the wheels turning. We disconnected our cable for seven months and our quality of life improved dramatically. We hooked it back up 2 months ago to see what the affects would be; needless to say we will soon be disconnecting it again. 95 % of TV is garbage, pure garbage, most shows are just fillers for commercials. Some shows are good, just rent the DVD. I still find it hard to believe that there's still an audience for sitcoms!! There so many more fulfilling ways to spend your time.

More of us have got to stand up and hold the line. Stop buying shit, get together with other people in your community and work to be able to sustain yourselves in 2-300 people groups for long enough to force them out of their holes. if they can't collect our labor to drive their machines, we can stop them.

I couldn't agree with you more! I've been thinking that for a while now. I'm 29 and I think I first started to realize money was worthless and the cause of our problems when I was around 12 or 13. I think everyone knows deep down, but don't have the will to try to do something about it. If we had a good alternative plan and sold it to the public, we could get the wheels turning. You just have to make people think it's the "cool" thing to do.

We disconnected our cable for seven months and our quality of life improved dramatically. We hooked it back up 2 months ago to see what the affects would be; needless to say we will soon be disconnecting it again. 95 % of TV is garbage, pure garbage, most shows are just fillers for commercials. Some shows are good, just rent the DVD. I still find it hard to believe that there's still an audience for sitcoms!! There so many more fulfilling ways to spend your time.
