  • great videos man. keep up da good work, love from shetland isles..

  • you have a great adventure of a life. lots are envious including me. you sound very cool and happy. this may sound silly but what do you do with the animals you catch - eat or sell furs or use meat as more bait?

  • Wolwerline here in Finland a big problem specially in Lappland, they massacure reindeers. Here you cant shoot them or trap them because of Europen Union laws made in Brussels in Belgium. What are laws there?

  • Why did you shoot the wolverine from far?

I wanted to see it up close

  • @79Testo He shot it from so far away, because you don't want to get that close to a live one... If it were to break free it would eff you up

  • What is your accent Irish ?

  • Awsome video man I love what u do I trap myself what do u use to get rid of bugs on the animals

  • Great vids man i snare Rabbits, fox, squirrel, coon, weasel, muskrat, beaver and i'm going to start snaring lynx. keep up the great vids. SNAREROWEN

  • Great vids man. I snare myself.SNAREROWEN

  • That was a beautiful cat man......great job. Best of luck on the rest of your season!

Oh, and hope ya had a great Christmas and happy new year ; )

  • I love watching your vids. You are an inspiration my friend, living the good life and not putting up with the bullshit of todays city life. Keep living the dream!!!

  • U are a very good trapper! I caught my first lynx this year just after Christmas. I wanna know if there's a boiling and dying process for ur snares or are they effective without boiling? All in all have fun enjoying as much as do! Do u have a video of snare and trap prep for lynx? Greatly appreciated!

  • Good job. Trapped my self a little. It makes for great adventures.

  • Great videos. You should be on a reality show. My son and I have been watching you trap because we are interested in doing it ourselves. You make it interesting. Wish we were up there.

  • whats it gonna cost me next yr and do some fuckin wolverine trappin eah....my son and i would love to trap a wolverine....dont have any here in NY.....sucks.....cant snare either.....

  • how much is a wolverine worth on average? Awsome videos keep them coming

  • great video! i trap allot down here in idaho and i love watchin ur videos.it keeps me motivated

  • i trapp like you haha

  • what do you spray to kill the lice?

  • @flyndublin Any insect killer. SNAREROWEN

  • @flyndublin Any insect killer. SNAREROWEN

  • man if i were you i would set out about 50 weasel boxes and run them for a week. might reduce the problem

  • Love your videos.... you should have your own reality show! Thanks for sharing.

  • I love your videos bud! Keep 'em coming and best of luck

  • I love your videos man. It would be awesome to catch wolverines and stuff. I live it Iowa and the most I catch is coon, coyote, and beaver. Keep posting your videos.

  • You should do tours or like excursions...id pay to come out with you...great videos

  • Congrats on the 1st wolverine of the season! Don't have 'em here in Michigan but it's one of my favorites too. Keep up the good work Andrew, truly enjoy your videos. Good luck on the rest of the season! Looking forward to more videos. ~Todd

  • Nice wolverine Andrew, your stacking up the lynx too!

Those are the top two critters on my wish list to trap.

Had wolverine tracks run through my line last week , so hopefully I can cross one off my list soon!

Keep the vids coming , I enjoy the heck out of them!

  • You fucking rock and I love your videos, I started trapping last year and started small so I could learn as much as possible about sets and learning all the regulations in place in my home state. Foothold and conibears or live traps are all we can use for bobcats and other game and only live traps for rabbit, beaver is the only snare use we have so the learning process continues this year. Carry on and hope you have to double stack fur to make room for them all this year.

  • I think the wolverine lost some of its teeth from hitting the logs and sticks maybe dirt too, when he was trying to escape. Great videos man , I am a fan and I watched all of your videos and I live up north near Yellowknife and you make me wanna start trapping, my dad gots the gear so yeah looking forward to seeing more videos. Masi

  • i love ur videoes im 15 and i want to be like you when i get older i trap now but only catch 30 40 coyotes and 100 muskrats and beaver and weasels but ur a really good trapper and keap posting these good videoes

  • nice

  • I'm a hunter but have never trapped before and I've been watching your videos for awhile and I was wondering how it works up there, that is, is the property that your cabin is on do you own that? And the trap line or is that in a "National Forest?"

  • It's good to see young men getting out to keep the trapline going, you are doing good great video's, don't let the tree hugger's get under your skin, Happy New Year....

  • Another great video man! Gotta question for ya. Do you wax your soft catch traps? You made me a believer in them and I was wondering about how you go about preparing them before you set them out. Peace man

  • Tried to comment on wolf video but for some reason could not open it. Already watched it twice anyways. That is a really nice wolf, but don't be suprised if it does not sell for that much. Apperently Fur Harvesters lumps grey wolves in with large coyotes. Mighty better to give Robertson Artworks a call and see what he would give you.

  • congrats on your catches man. merry christmas. keep up the good work and keep making vids!

  • I can't get over how powerful the wolverine is ... how exciting a suggestion for some more videos would be some how to skin ... always nice to learn from a professional ...

    Merry Christmas

  • My name is Steve DeLion. I'm 49 years old and I live in Ogden, Utah. I believe I'm your biggest fan. As far as I'm concerned you are the greatest trapper up North. I've learned a lot from you and I really enjoy watching your vids. I'm sure you are extremely busy now but I'm hoping you can send me a line or two. That would certainly make my day. Keep up the great work. God's speed my friend...

  • Just saw your reply to my question on sraying the wolverine on an earlier comment. Thanks.

  • Really enjoy watching your videos and look forward to the next ones. Keep up the good work! Curious as to what you spray the wolverines with to kill the parasites and do you have to spray all the other fur bearers as well? Happy New Year!

  • CONGRATS on the Wolverine.

  • what size cable do u use

  • Keep on educating...... Thanks

  • Merry Christmas, The scenery up there is amazing.

  • Very awesome job and great videos! Keep them coming!

  • Hey Andrew, Im a new fan of yours...great videos man, learned alot!

  • New viewer here and I'm hooked on your "Great" videos. Keep up the good work. Carry on down the line, maybe you'll pick up another cat.

  • always a good day when i see you uploaded a new video.......good luck on the line and may ur traps be full!

  • Ha wildnorth, Great video i love your sets, congrats on the wolverine, how many lynx do you get per season.

  • How many martens do you get? Just curious, I hardly ever see you show any on your videos. I guess seeing Canines, cats, and Wolverines is more exciting anyway, but Marten bring good money. I was curious how many Marten you have in the Northwest Territories too. Here in Southeast Alaska they're pretty thick, but I know every area is different. anyways, good luck with your wolf snares, hope to see one choked in the next video. take care

  • I love watching your video's i am hooked i live in kitchener ontario i am 35 and sold my cottage in timmins ontario 3 years ago if i could turn back time i would have moved up there i always wanted to take that train to james bay i just love to north anyway my name is matt and keep up the great work if you can try to film more often even the simple shit is cool around the cabin its like were hanging out lol

  • great video as always! what a day on the trap line! those wolverines are some awesome looking critters! he have Fisher in Maine they remind me of wolverine but are no were as mean as wolverines. i look foreward to more of your videos! be safe on the line!

  • what are weasels worth?

  • hey andrew i love your videos i live in hayriver.

  • Merry Christmas super catch.

That wolverine was one tough son of a gun.

All the best for the new year.

    Phil

  • Do wolverines bring more money than other animals? Congratulations on your catch.

  • Merry Christmas, and congratulations on your Wolverine

  • well done and congrats on your xmas wolverine.

  • Merry Xmas, andrew! That #3 soft catch did the job. Are they 4 coiled? I 've held wolves with them but i've also had wolves pop the jaws. I think the fact that your wolverine spent it's time fighting the bush as opposed to fighting the trap helped distract it. Nice job on the cats. i'll try your snare pens next year. Lynx is now closed here and my quota is caught. be safe.

  • Hey Andrew, that wolverine was a nice catch, that is the first time I seen one up so close, it was amazing how much he tore up the ground. They must be a very strong animal, I will look forward to look at the finished product, when you have him all combed out Hope you had a good Christmas, your morning started off pretty darn awesome. Look forward to your next video.

  • Right on Andrew. I always look forward to your posts. What I find interesting is the minimalist living. I am on my way to that level of clarity. A few more years, and I am there.

What sort of survival kit do you take with you on the trail? Just wondering.

Also, is that new camera any good at filming the northern lights? That would be a big hit on your site.

    Peace to ya. -Steve-

  • Always enjoy your lifestyle video's. Happy Trappin and goodluck.

  • cool video looks like the season been good to you so far

  • Awesome video Andrew, I am a rookie trapper and I am learning alot from your video's.

Thanks for posting, I am sure it is alot of extra work.

Just wanted to let you know I appreciate what you do man.

    It's awesome to see a no b.s. video...for real.

  • Great stuff brother. Havn't been by in a while. Glad to see you are still at it.

  • Congrats on the nice wolverine!!! Remember to save me some of those moose leg bones to make a knife blade or two. Take care, S'Bone

  • I may be the last guy to know what you do with your fur. I trapped years ago and know fur markets , have you considered selling direct to your viewers you might do even better?

  • Great video. I hope 2012 is better for you than 2011. Thanks for sharing all your trapping with all of us.

  • Looks like you had a good Christmas day. Merry Christmas

  • Do you do any Ice Fishing?

  • Hell of a nice Wolverine. Can't wait for the next installment

  • been waitin for another upload! nice vid cant wait for the next

  • Thanks for the Christmas-present video, Andrew. I was thinking that same thought you had about how much it's good to see the sun when you get so much less of it in the winter.

  • andrew when i spray our fox coyote and coon ect.i will spray them with raid flee killer and put a garbage bag over them for a wile and then everything is dead when i take off the bag i .learned it from my taxedermist works great

  • Another great vid congrats on the Wolverine!!!

  • how much money does each lynx bring in???

  • You have much problems with lice and no seeups on those pelts that are north?

  • Nice Fellas.

  • hey bro have you ever seen an animal chew its own paw off to get free?

  • @onezeero1 ya man i know for a fact that the muskrats and the beavers will try and probably succead but i know that the canine family mostlikely cant cuz its solid bone and they just might not want to do it too

  • awesum, good hunting bro, that was the biggest linx i ever seen

  • I told you andrew you were about do for a wolverine lol! very nice footage. You took the words right out of my mouth. When i saw that wolverine set. I thought damn that looks like a bomb hit right there... Those big weasels are probably pound for pound the toughest damn animals alive! One of his teeth might be in that debris pile some where! lol! Keepem coming. Now its wolf time!

  • fix the audio. it's probably some setting on the camera or software.

  • Charlie looks spry, well fed and happy.

  • Hey Man Merry Belated Christmas!!!! Hey that was a nice mature Wolverine you got there; good thing you came when you did he might got off later on. How come the Lynx aren't prime; not enough steady deep cold yet? I guess the river must be froze hard enough to get back and forth to town or is there another way you travel to town? Anyway take care, keep safe and if there's anything a brother Metis/Native can help you with just let me know!!! Kevin

  • Dam good Christmas present id say, nice job Andrew.

  • Hey andrew I heard u mention spraying down ur wolverine to kill the lice. You've answered questions before from me. Im new to trapping an I got my first red fox here in WV. It also had lice. What can I use or what do u use an where can I get it?

  • Hey Andrew, how much does one Wolverine make you money wise? You guys seem so excited when u got that bastard.

  • @jdcp76 i sell all my wolverines locally to any buyer who wants one cased fur all the claws on skinned and stretched for taxedermy the price on a complete undamaged wolverine pelt is $500 non negotible. there one of the hardest to catch there fearless and mean pretty much straight muscle very tough animal the toughest probally my heart really pounds wen i catch one in a leghold alive they snap and snarl and bit at you i usually shoot em right away its a real high man.

    peace

  • @jdcp76 about 500 bucks cash he said

  • Congratulations on you Xmas day catch Andrew. My son and I love your videos and we are always looking forward to the next one. Happy Holidays from Ohio.

  • Great job!!!! love every single one of ur videos!

  • Awsome... Merry Christmas..

  • Nice haul on Christmas day, happy holidays to you and yours. Be safe!

  • Great stuff Andrew! Do you spray all of your catch for lice or just fresh kills that haven't frozen? Also, do you think that your Lynx haven't lightened up yet due to the milder temperatures this year? Hope your luck continues through the New Year.

  • @lastdayjay i spray all animals with raid but not lynx the reason i dont spray lynx is cause me and charlie eat lynx meat and they have little or no fleas.not sure about the weather its still cold but every year is diffrent jan and feb are the coldest months of the year soon the lynx will be silver with little or no brownneed a few night of -35 maybe.

    thanks for commenting

  • Marry christmas bro. How much will one of them bring?

  • @ShawnCFarm $500 cash

  • @TheWildNorth I just found out that you might have a new job, don't forget to take your camera with you as I'm sure people would love to see where you are going. I'm not sure if they would let you bring your camera down in the mine, but that would be cool.

  • @ShawnCFarm no man i aint going anywere the only place i am going is back to my trappers cabin (The HomeLand) theres too many critters calling my name!

  • @TheWildNorth Well thats good to hear as I would miss your videos. My Grandfather was a trapper in NewBrunswick. He would go away a few months every year to trap in the winter. He had 19 kids lol. I gess he was away from home to long. I tryed to learn off my uncal but he dose not trap all that much, but it was fun as hell. I love the outdoors

  • @TheWildNorth Congrats you deserve it with the hard work you put into trapping...

  • its about dam time great video

  • Awesome!
