  • I love this piece, and cool interpretation :) subscribed

  • One of the best performances of this piece I have heard...well done!

    Thanks for sharing with us.

  • Hi Chaconne,

I love your playing, awesome! I just ordered a Blackshear from Tom and am very excited. I mentioned this was the sound I was looking for. I am a rock guitar player most all of my life and have only played classical 4or 5 years. Going from Van Halen to Bach is quite different. Cheers Chaconne, Shane (:>)

  • Thanks for sharing this video and wonderful music with us. I don't see colours, although that would be interesting, When you're playing do you find occassionally, it's almost like sitting back and listening to someone else play a favourite piece? It was a pleasure listening you your playing, thanks.

  • Great performance...Bach is always my choice of listening. By the way, your first name was given after the Bach's famous Chaconne? :) Do you still own that Thomas Blackshear guitar?

  • BRAVO!My favorite.

  • muy bien¡¡

  • Beautiful.A challenge to Julian perhaps?

  • -bows in respect-

  • your essence mesmerizes me...a blissful journey out of body...yet deep in the heart... to the sweetest spheres of music.

  • great job

  • I'm a synesthete, which means I see colors when I hear music.

I like the way you play this piece, because I can see your notes as golden, yellow notes, which I really like.

Also I can see the pulses throughout the phrases, which makes it more like a candle flickering on and off, and the shadow behind the candle.

So I wonder, are you a synesthete too, because you've got good color?

  • Hi Max

Wow, really? Cool. No, I am not a synesthete. I just hear what I play. This is actually an old piece, and I play it better now so I wonder what it looks like. I'll have to add the Chaconne on here sometime and you'll have to tell me what color it is :)

    Chaconne

  • Good job!! 5/5!!!!

I think that this is my next Bach song i'm gonna learn.

I recently learned the Gigue from Lute Suite #996, and i'm noticing the similarities between this Allegro and that Gigue i just learned.

They are both pieces of Bach's brilliance!!

  • Beautiful

  • Very impressive. I don't know how much it would take me to learn to play that!

  • Wow, the way you play Bach is truly Baroque!

    Great job!

  • A very promising future for this great performer. Great job!

  • Wow, very nice playing. I can't believe how many awards you've won at age 15!

I've been taking lessons from Klaverenga's for about a year now, but I only sound 1/100 as good. Keep up the extreme practice and dedication(four hours a day, holy cow!). I'm sure you'll become one of the best.:)

    Chaconne

  • chaconnne ..you are super!

  • Superb job. Since you are not too far from Bloomington, some time with Nigel North might be very illuminating. Congratulations on excellent technique and sound.

  • Chaconne:

I was transfixed by a "sound bite" on "Journal & Courier" of you playing "Asturias" by Albeniz. Unfortunately, that link no longer exists.

I would be most greatful if you would upload this piece here.

Also I like the Thomas Blackshear you have, too bad he has retired.

    Cheers,

    Curtis

  • Great technique and sentimiento, great sound, congratulations!

    5/5

  • What a joy to work in the studio, where this woman keeps expanding her repetoire.
