The heartbeat sound is just an ambient. It's used in the Wreck of Maria Doria in Tomb Raider II, and it's used again in the Area 51/Coumpound levels in Area 52 in TR3. Just like the wind sounds of the Great Wall in TR2 are used again for London in TR3. Ambient, ambient, ambient. :)

I just got this on the psp, after around 10 days of playing I get to the Natla flying, and the game always freezes!! everytime I press select to open up a health pack it does it. I will try and stand where you stood and try to kill her with my uzi, hopefully no game freeze then

U can do the first bit in 90 secs with the uzis and if u were not to touch Natla at all u can save a min or 2. Also I once found a glitch in this lvl after I jumped off deliberately and lived somehow any1 else found glitches like that.

Actually I have a question- on one of the tomb raider mansion levels I think TR3 I heard if you complete the obstacle course in under 50 secs you unlock the butlers room, is this true and have you done it? What was your fastest time?

The rumour is BS. The fastest time for TR2 Assault Course is 1:03:9 and is perfect as far as anyone knows. The fastest time for the TR3 one is around 1:34, that might be improvable but definitely not to under 50.

You can get under 50 with cheats etc but nothing happens, and people have looked at the levels in editors to see if there's anything as well (there aren't.

Wonderful. I guess I could never get past the monster baby again. I remember my mother and I always used a bug in the game to defeat it. There was a specific spot left to the door where it could not hurt you. We figured it out once or twice, but I never found the spot again.
