  • I lived in this neighborhood in the 1960s and 1970s and remember the Milwaukee Road passenger trains being pulled by E-8s I believe. I also remember U50s on this track.

  • I Was sleeping in bed it was around 12:00 am or 2:00am in the morning i herd a train horn i woke up ran to the front door open the blines waited for the train to come it was yellow it was Union Pacific locomotive on the CSXT Line this is my first time seeing a UNION PACIFIC Locomotive

  • Hey snuffy at what time does the Union Pacific trains past at Montebello and Pico rivera because I am going to railfan on march 28, 2011 on Monday at 12:30pm at Pico Rivera on Durfee Ave. If you want to come too meet me there.

  • ah, snuffy. I captured that exact same Metrolink trainset a little further east and a week later (F59PHI #883 with the FrontRunner car).

  • Last week I saw a Front Runner(SLC) car #210 and a Trinity Railway Express(DFW) car #1063 coupled together in a freight consist. While waiting for my commuter train.

    1996 1995 1983 are all at ICTF....But no luck finding them there as there hiding perhaps in the engine facility from getting tagged maybe.

  • Yea, forget about the Alhambra sub. There's a big project going on at Sunset Ave/Valley Bl in City of Industry.

    May be all heritages are in Long Beach.

  • Btw, Tomorrow is very busy day for both BNSF and UP. You might able to see lot of trains in Montebello or Fullerton.
