God manifested himself in the flesh as Jesus - because he is all powerful he could do that. He is our living God and speaks to those who seek him. The people who "love" Jesus more are the people who believe in the words in which he spoke. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God, nor that God could even have a son. Yet, in every account of the gospel this point is reiterated countless times. He who loves Jesus does the will of the Father, and the will of the father according to Jesus' own words is that we should believe in him and obey him because he is holy.

Also, if something is in the Quran, and it confirms what is in the Bible, I have no problem using that book, though I do not believe it is all correct (ie killing children and animals, raping drunk family members, prophets committing adultery), though it does have many beneficial parts, like iterating the belief in only One God throughout the text.

The title is slightly disappointing. Its like seeing a point of view from one child trying to convince themselves or the other sibling that they love their parents more, when in fact they love just the same. Love has no measure, no scale. You cannot half love and half not love. You either love or you dont. Same with this. Christians and muslims love jesus just the same, as long as they love him. Fair enough you want to convert 'the unbelievers' but do so in a more appropriate fashion.
You fail to understand the point. If you say you love someone, what does that mean, do you say I love unconditionally so and so, and then follow nothing of their teachings? How can you say you love your parents and yet rebel, curse, and dont treat them kindly, yet still loving them? You can say you love someone, yet words are cheap, actions are what matters. Every people had a prophet or someone to guide them, now we have some scriptures of the jews.They were all muslim by definition. When you say Jews they were from the tribe of juda. Know your history, Abraham was not a Jew by definition, he was a monotheist who submitted to God. All prophets were muslim, so was Jesus! If jesus or any of these jews were muslim, then somewhere in either the bible or the torah or anything else, besides the quran, it would say that they all followed Islam. It doesnt. I could make a god worshipping religion tommorrow and say things like, all past religions all actually had my religion because they didnt know at the time and it didnt say so in any of their books.
And jesus said the only way to heaven was through him, so yes worship him, aswell. It is said that jesus is the embodiment of god in earthly form, which isnt so hard to believe as god made us in his image, and jesus had power to help those, who needed it. Even if that is wrong, then he was at least the son of god, in mortal form, and was put on earth to die for the remission of our sins. And if the non-believers are wrong, then why hasnt Islam always prevailed over them?
Your basic understanding concerning God is wrong. Jesus was saying it metaphorically, Muhammad said the same thing but we don think he is God or a son of his. God has numerous "sons" in the old testament, and even some people without mother or father! It doesnt mean they are God! God manifested himself in the flesh as Jesus - because he is all powerful he could do that. He is our living God and speaks to those who seek him. For me occasionally it is an audible voice but usually in other ways. I never would have believed it either but I had faith and he came through for me. If you seek him from the heart he will reveal himself to you too.

The Quran does have mistakes-very notably it says Jesus did not die, that he was not crucified. That is a historical fact. "His commandments" are not the Jewish commandment; they're the commandments that He gave to His disciples, which He explained were encompassed in two commands -- love God above all and love your neighbor as yourself.
Many are confused about this because they don't know the voice of God as referenced in John 10:27, proving resurrection.

The people who "love" Jesus more are the people who believe in the words in which he spoke. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God, nor that God could even have a son. Yet, in every account of the gospel this point is reiterated countless times. Thanks for the info, Jesus and Muslims follow the first commandment (and the other 9), while christians dont follow the first, though they follow some of the others. The first is the most important and is followed by muslims everywhere. You are correct that actions are much more important. The interesting thing is muslims follow both actions and look of the prophets and holy people :)

Yes, Jesus is part of the godhood, and I call him my Lord =) The Hebrew Old Testament uses a word for God that implies unity and diversity of God's being, if you want me 2, I can send you an article about 'evidence for the trinity in the OT.' No, Jesus Son of Mary, is a huge title of respect, as God himself named Him this in the Quran. In Jesus's case, it is an honor because he was born miraculously, he doesnt have an earthly father. Also, if something is in the Quran, and it confirms what is in the Bible, I have no problem using that book, though I do not believe it is all correct (ie killing children and animals, raping drunk family members, prophets committing adultery), though it does have many beneficial parts, like iterating the belief in only One God throughout the text.

The extras were to show muslims are commited to doing acts of worship as Jesus was commited. Why do hindus fast? For a a person or the Creator, why do vegens fast? Probably for health reasons, not for God (though possibly, and may God reward them if they have proof). Jesus did it for God and so do Muslims.

The title is slightly disappointing. Its like seeing a point of view from one child trying to convince themselves or the other sibling that they love their parents more, when in fact they love just the same. Love has no measure, no scale. You cannot half love and half not love. You either love or you dont. Same with this. Christians and muslims love jesus just the same, as long as they love him. Fair enough you want to convert 'the unbelievers' but do so in a more appropriate fashion.

Jesus worshiped God who is above the heavens. Christians worship Jesus and God. Jesus did not. Jesus followed the Torah as he was a jew and commanded to.
Christians do not. Jesus didnt eat pork, ect. Christians claim to love and follow Jesus, but they do nothing from the core message. Do not take an idol from the Heaven above or the earth beneath, they do that.

Every people had a prophet or someone to guide them, now we have some scriptures of the jews.They were all muslim by definition. When you say Jews they were from the tribe of juda. It is said that jesus is the embodiment of god in earthly form, which isnt so hard to believe as god made us in his image, and jesus had power to help those, who needed it. Even if that is wrong, then he was at least the son of god, in mortal form, and was put on earth to die for the remission of our sins. And if the non-believers are wrong, then why hasnt Islam always prevailed over them?

@Newf2islam if all Jewish prophets were muslims, can you show us where they observed the five pillars of Islam? if you cant show this, then muhammed started islam. Why do you muslims love to spread lies with no proof to deceive people in youtube.? there should be evidence that Moses and Jesus were Muslims, not by giving us Muhammed's stories with no proof. The first religion is Judaism, how could islam be before Judaism? If abraham was a muslim, did isaac practice islam with proof?

You were gullible and now you are in a religion that will kill you if you change your mind. As you have probably learned by now, Judaism existed long before Christianity OR Islam. Islam traces its heritage to Ishmael, son of Abraham. Isaac was the Judaic path. That's where they split. Islam wasn't founded for at least another 2000 years. Maybe 3000.

@iphoenix82 can you mention any Jewish or christian scholar that converted to islam? Also, alot of imams i know in arabia are already practising xtianity in disguise bcos if it's known publicly, they will be killed. Go to Egypt, alot of imams are pastors of churches there. Google or youtube it. Father zakaria boutrous was a former mulla but now an evangelist in Egypt and Cyprus. muslims love to blabb

Profit Muhammed peace be upon him was the last Prophet and he taught us the last and perfect religion. Don't you realize that Allah was testing Humans? to see whether they'd still believe in Allah or not? Haven't you heard the miracles that the holy Quran has?? For ex. Embroyology and what's written in the Quran 1400 years ago if not more. Why you people still lie to yourselves?

Without actually having talked to allah, no one can know his will, except through fallible human, 'interpretations.' When people say he was the last prophet, well quite frankly many people could have raised an army in the middle ages and create their own religion, which is a vague curruption other much older religions. Islam, like other religioms is full of old pagan tendencies, even the name 'Allah' is based on the arabian moon god Al-llah, which predates islam by 3000 years.

Hey bud, as muslims we believe Jesus was sent to the children of Israel because the rabbis and chiefs altered the torah and led their group astray. Even the word Jew is not a religious name, it was derived from Judah (son of Jacob I believe, and he had one of the 12 tribes). Check out Harvard school of divinity graduate Jerald Dirks and his findings. He's got some interesting info the history of all 3 religions and the issues with semantics across different languages. Your reasoning is totally flawed. This is what you're saying "I look and act like Jesus, therefore I must love him", this is completely different than "I love Jesus, therefore I act and look like him". You don't actually love him, you're just inferring you love him based on some description of him.
