It is funny how MANY of today's people from USA's culture, are talking about some "appropriate parenting" and "exemplary gestures" for kids, yet they are the first ones to brake it all the time, and the first ones who invented all that inappropriate debaucherous culture.

I was surprised(disapointed) at that and that made me curious about religion in Japan. Does Japan have the extent of the uber fundie, types similar to the U.S.? If so, have you ever been the target of their preaching?

@MrWindfall Japan is considered to be 58% atheist, only 1% of the population are Christians. The major religions in Japan are Shinto and Buddhism. Most Japanese, even those considered atheists will go to the temples and partake in some rituals out of respect for traditions. Compared to the U.S. Japan has little religious fundamentalism. The Aum Shinrikyo (Aleph) that terrorized Japan with Sarin gas attacks is the most extreme religious group I've heard about in Japan so far.
