you can buy pre-painted bodyshells.

Its the same thing, its cald 240SX and 200SX in europe and in the US and Silvia in japan :P

It just depends on the engine:

240sx= KA24DE

200sx= SR20DET

180sx= CA18DE

you paint the body the colours first then you can paint over with white to make it looke smart

no you dont have to but i do :P

it looks a lot smarter and itf you scratch the inside it wont be as noticable because it will scratch the white first in most cases

ah scratch prevention. i will be sure o paint my next body white on the inside=P is it the same reason why tamiya paints their pre-painted bodies white on the inside as well?

i think so yes

it wont make it completely scratch proof but

1. painting it on the inside makes it less likely to scratch if you roll it or crash it

2. painting it white after pre painting can reduce scratching

a lot of pre painted bodys are painted in this way....and it doesnt have to be white it can be any colour you like (:
