where did you get such a good version of rebecca, mine is not as good ... or did you use some tools to improve quality?

I used my video program to enhance it. Took a good while to just do a few bits because I couldn't get it to rip properly from my DVD copy. I really want to enhance the entire program. I will if I ever get a copy that I can put onto my computer properly. :-)

Thanks for putting this out. This was the best version of REBECCA I've seen. Brett and Joanna David were perfectly cast, I think. When I reread the book , these are the faces that come to my mind. Am very sorry this video has fallen off the face of the earth!

I'm always fascinated by the first words "last night, i dreamt i went to Manderley again..." I learned that for many people, the version with Jeremy was better than the movie with Laurence Olivier!

but i've never seen this version in France! (at last)

Wonderful stuff as usual. You seem to have an amazingly clear copy of the series. I think Rebecca is probably my favourite pre Holmes performance.

Thank you very much Tilly! My copy isn't very good, my video making software has ability to increase contrast, saturation, improve lighting, sharpness and colour. I had a terrible job ripping DVD onto my computer. It ripped without sound! I had to find a fire sound effect for the end. My favourite pre SH too. Good to see JB's natural skin tone. He was made up with strong white makeup for SH. I like those natural touches of white hair lingering at the sides too - covered up for SH. Pretty.
