Man, I watch this and just feel a flood of emotions come at me. Its difficult to come across a movie you can watch for well over a decade and still adore, but that's precisely what this movie is for me. I first saw it when I was three and I still love it even as a twenty year old. For lack of a better word, its magical.

WTF happened to making cartoons, which actually takes true talent and creativity instead of taking the easy way out by using computers. This right here is a prime example of how awesome Disney used to be for family entertainment. I mean shit they don't even have musicals in Pixar.

@poochy2479 They have absolutely no talent compared to old Disney movie cartoons. Hand drawn animation was the Disney's trademark, signature, and what truly made them special. Now besides Princess and the Frog, they haven't done any cartoon movies in 10 years! They've completely become Pixar only. Like the top comments say, Disney has betrayed everything they stood for.

One of the best endings in my opinion. The whole build-up to Simba's roar and the roar itself, combined with the grand finale with "Circle of Life" still gives me goosebumps even though it has been more than a decade that I saw this movie.

@p123970 Hell straight, its impossible not to relate with him due to how human he is, he suffered and secluded himself after experiencing the biggest betrayal, and for years tried to flee from the guilt of his indirect fault at everything that happened without ever being able to let it go, until his friends and the memories of his father gave him the courage to face the danger and fix everything once and for all. He thinks about how far he has come and finally is at peace with himself. Epicness
