  • Rising from the ashes. Life will find a way.

  • Man, I watch this and just feel a flood of emotions come at me. Its difficult to come across a movie you can watch for well over a decade and still adore, but that's precisely what this movie is for me. I first saw it when I was three and I still love it even as a twenty year old. For lack of a better word, its magical.

  • Thumbs up if you feel good after watch it!!

  • I think Lion King is probably the only Disney movie with the most powerful soundtrack :')

  • most wounderful movie at all times no matter how small you feel this can make a huge differences in your heart

  • I cry EVERY time, when Rafiki tells Simba " it is time" I'm 19 and miss my disney childhood

  • thumbs up for simba and nala fantastic movie

  • Guess 13 people never had a childhood

  • Best Disney Final Effer!!

  • Gives me goosebumps everytime!!!

  • @HiTmaNUnLeaSHeD me too! remember.....

  • LOL! At 0:30 Nala's face somehow disappears in Simba's.

  • Everyone here should petition to bring back old school Disney. Most of all CARTOONS! FUCK PIXAR! This is what made my childhood.

  • @Neuffey The Pixar animations aren't that bad and is still bringing out the child within all of us... In my opinion though, I spit at Disney for bringing up Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers...

  • @julzzville21 The second part of what you said is totally agreeable. But as for Pixar, it has reached it's limit. They should've stopped after Monsters Inc. WTF happened to making cartoons, which actually takes true talent and creativity instead of taking the easy way out by using computers. This right here is a prime example of how awesome Disney used to be for family entertainment. I mean shit they don't even have musicals in Pixar.

  • @Neuffey

What about Up? That's a pretty good recent Pixar movie.

  • @poochy2479 Like I said, they should've stopped after Monster's Inc. Don't like any of the movies after that. I didn't even like Monster's Inc. much.

  • @Neuffey

That is entirely your opinion. Pixar's movies have all been just fine.

  • @poochy2479 I agree Pixar's good but nothing beats the magic of Disney.

  • @poochy2479 They have absolutely no talent compared to old Disney movie cartoons. Hand drawn animation was the Disney's trademark, signature, and what truly made them special. Now besides Princess and the Frog, they haven't done any cartoon movies in 10 years! They've completely become Pixar only. Like the top comments say, Disney has betrayed everything they stood for.

  • @Neuffey

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a perfect example of somebody who is just too biased. Disney's other animated films are just fine. I'm fairly certain that the only reason anybody might dislike anything of Disney's is because of the Disney Channel and the types of things being shown to kids there.

  • not many things can, almost, bring a tear to my eye.

  • i miss this movie, since i was 7 years old,

the old Disney was the best one

  • Amazing Ending :D:D!!

  • I love this song <3

  • I'm 16 yrs old and I still cry when I watch this scene because it brings me back to my childhood. This movie has taught me a lot.

  • @peterbradyiv1

    me too!

i miss my childhood, feel like every thing's changing to fast.

    the music is so soothing.

  • I agree that the Lion King is definitely 90's. But the 2000's kids need to be exposed to good Disney movies like this! All they have right now is Hannah Montana and whatever crap came after it...it's sad...

  • Best. Scene. Ever.

    <3

  • Look at 0:15 when Zazu says "Your majesty".

  • 13 people disliked this I'll find them I'll find them if I have to burn down all of Paris AND I DON'T CARE IF IT'S THE WRONG MOVIE!!!

  • If i was James Earl Jones I would put the music for this on repeat and just sit in front of the bathroom mirror saying: Remember...

  • Zazu's face when simba walks up the rock is exactly like mine when i watch this scene

  • This movie has ment more to me then any other movie ever have.

If I was going to die tomorrow, and I could choose one last movie to watch for the last time, it would definatily be this. No doubt.

  • Greatest movie ever made in my opinion.

  • Walt Disney: My coworkers you have forgotten me.

Disney Staff: No how could we?

Walt Disney: You have forgotten who you are and so have forgotten me look inside yourselves you are more then what you appear to be you must take your place as the greatest movie studio ever.

Disney Staff: How can we go back we're not who we used to be.

Walt Disney: Remember who you are you are my company and the one true kings of family entertainment remember who are...remember...remember...remember.

  • @marmik961

    that is so true!!!!

  • @marmik961 lmao!!

  • @marmik961 this is the best bloody comment i have ever seen..u r hilarious!! but dude....soooo true they are epic...they must all take us back to Pride Rock..

  • One of the best endings in my opinion. The whole build-up to Simba's roar and the roar itself, combined with the grand finale with "Circle of Life" still gives me goosebumps even though it has been more than a decade that I saw this movie.

  • There are no words to describe how amazing this is!!!

  • Am I the only one who cried while watching Simba climb up Pride Rock? :')

  • @mushy58mushy it gets me every time!

  • @mushy58mushy I did to. Because it is the best part of the movie

  • Omg I'm gonna cry :')

  • the messages in this movie are so beautiful and all the characters(except Scar) are so charming and funny. Best Disney movie ever in my opinion. Taught the most about life.

  • I swear, putting headphones right against your ears makes it feel like your in a movie theater watching this clip...Thats awesome.

  • Who left the onions in the room?

  • Best scene in the history of Dinsey

  • Who knew animals spoke english? lol

  • i love this movie and this is the best part

  • goooooosebumps!!

  • It's 1994.

    I'm 6 years old.

I'm watching a Disney movie in theatres for the first time.

    This scene happens.

And I cry at a movie for the first time.

This was the moment Disney became family to me.

  • thumbs up if you're watching this in 2012! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!

  • 0:57

*sniff*..... I think I go something in my eye

  • I miss that time. films such as these should come back.

  • at 1:13 it would have been SO epic if Scar's skull was shown there!

  • Even though this movie depressed me at THE part, it was somehow my all time favorite movie as a kid.. and still is.

  • I think the most emotional part is as Simba appears, Zazu bows and mouths the words, "Your Majesty".

  • Sent chills down my spine

  • Epico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember distinctly climbing the stairs inside my house, re-enacting simba.

  • best ending EVER!!!

  • Hans Zimmer, Master of Epic Music

  • 90s perfect time to be a kid.

  • "Remember who you are"

  • Manly Tears Were Shed Today.

  • Dear Disney, Stop thinking about the money! START BRINGING BACK THESE CLASSICS! <3

  • i love how its all so epic and then it blends into the circle of life

    just fantastic

  • I cry everytime I watch this movie, it's sooo moving and amazing

  • LISTEN TO THE BROADWAY VERSION FOR ATLEAST 5X THE GOOSEBUMPS!

  • 1:00

Everybody was cheering at this point when I went to go see this in the theaters with my friend. :)

  • @WhenTheyCryLove Did they cry too?

  • Possibly the most epic, emotional ending scene that has ever been created in the cinema. Only movie which makes me cry at this exact point every single time I watch it.....such powerful stuff!! Music choice is perfection....LONG LIVE THE LION KING! GREATEST DISNEY MOVIE EVER CREATED!

  • It's a good thing that God is on Simba's side.

  • @Aggzy123 thank you:)

  • can anyone tell me what the antelope skull symbolises?

  • @britainfan4lyf The death and pain that Scar had caused and with the skull washing in the rain, it symbolises an end to the death, pain and suffering. Leaving behind, the rock and ground, a new start for Simba to restore glory to the pridelands.

  • These are the movies Im gonna have my kids watch, The old Disney movies!

  • Why does it only show my views?

  • don't you love it how the music crosses over form "Me busa" to "the circle of life"

  • Chills. Every time.

  • Few films have endings this good. I cry every time. Every animated film ever made bows to the King.

  • damn simba beasted all those lions with his roar shit you go simba :)

  • I remember why this movie is my favorite... :) i need to watch this again!

  • Dear new generation,The Lion King was during our generation, Just because it came out in 3D doesn't make it yours. Sincerely the 90s kids.

  • @CurvesRsexy08 umm what? i was born in 1998 so i guess im the "new generation" no one thinks its theirs but is it wrong to love a good movie? and having it in 3D is honestly not bad...

  • @CurvesRsexy08 I have seen it my first time in the cinema...I was only 4... :)

  • @CurvesRsexy08 the 3d version is the same scene as the old one?

  • @CurvesRsexy08

yes though its good the 2000s kids got the 3D release, or else they wouldn't know what they were missing

    -Fellow 90s kid

  • @CurvesRsexy08 Dear: 90s kids. I'm one of you. The Lion King is not "ours". I also grew up on Tom and Jerry, which was already 50 years old, as well as Star Wars, which was before my time as well. When you make a movie, it's nobody's to claim in particular. If new generations are as inspired by this movie and this moment in particular, then I say "thank God." I'd gladly share it, as it's not mine to share.

  • @CurvesRsexy08 I'm a 90's kid. This movie belongs to everyone as a piece of what Disney once was. I feel bad for the kids who are stuck with the crap on Disney Channel, and they have to go out and look for this movie on Blu-Ray/DVD in order to get a taste of what Disney used to be about. Simba is true Disney. Zack and Cody are not.

  • @tayl2991 Amen to that.

  • @CurvesRsexy08 Here here!

  • Comment removed

  • @CurvesRsexy08 and your complaining about this why? a member from "our generation" as you so stupid call it, is wise enough to share it with some who weren't lucky enough to have enjoyed this in the cinema. fuck the 3d, its a great initiative.

  • Who doesnt Love Lion King? 90's are the best for Cartoons since they had a more clearer message than these cartoons do today..

  • WTF WHO CARES ABOUT 2X00's MOVIES IM GOIN BACK TO THE 90'S

  • i'm directing a Lion King-themed dance performance right now--- i've edited, cut, re-written, and added to the script. This scene remains unchanged.

  • They need to make disney movies like this again. Fuck Wall-E lets see some more classics like this!

  • When he hears Mufasa say "Remember" 1:21, always makes me think of my dad who passed away when i was 4. Great Ending to a great movie!

  • Don't we all wish we could be a hero like Simba?

  • @p123970 Hell straight, its impossible not to relate with him due to how human he is, he suffered and secluded himself after experiencing the biggest betrayal, and for years tried to flee from the guilt of his indirect fault at everything that happened without ever being able to let it go, until his friends and the memories of his father gave him the courage to face the danger and fix everything once and for all. He thinks about how far he has come and finally is at peace with himself. Epicness

  • @p123970 we are in our own unique way :)

  • africa...forever love

  • Whenever I walk back home from school, this is playing in my head (I walk up a hill to get back to my apartment). I like to think I look this epic ^^

  • 2:31 KIARA!!!!

  • @Pheonixfirestar Sorry, I couldn't hear you. It sounded like you mentioned a movie that doesn't exist.

  • @HyaenusDominae of course you couldn't hear me I TYPED THE COMMENT plus the movie does exist and that cubs name is Kiara....

  • @Pheonixfirestar /watch?v=CyzyOnOh9A8&feature=related

  • @HyaenusDominae can't get to the video beside I stand by my word.

  • @Pheonixfirestar -clears throat-

You've been trolled you've been trolled you have probably been told

Don't reply to this guy. He is just getting a rise

Out of you. Yes it's true. You replied and that's his cue

To start trouble on the double while he strokes his manly stubble.

You've been trolled, you've been trolled, you should probably just fold

When the only winning move is not to play.

And yet you keep on trying, mindlessly replying.

You've been trolled you've been trolled. Have a nice day.

  • @HyaenusDominae uh stop putting rude comments towards me and leave me alone besides you are the one who started this mess with BS besides if you disagree with me put thumbs down.

  • @Pheonixfirestar Yeah. I just wanted to give trolling a try. It's not very fun. I mean, you're a real person, and while it can be funny just to gauge people's reactions, it's no fun when the only way to do that is by annoying them. Please except my apology.

  • @HyaenusDominae I except your apology.

  • 1994 is my year.:)

  • the disney movies today just lack that special something the 90s disney movies provided so easily back then...

  • 1:00 Everytime I either get goosebumps or start crying. :)

  • This film is one of my favourite films. The music for it is absolutely superb! Specially as Simba walks up the rock and roars!! Wonderful film. Hopefully, this film will give children of today the magic that we felt as children and that imagination will never be forgotten.

  • @trinicuteness Hans zimmer also did this.

  • @godzilla964 Hans Zimmer is tha Boss too!!
