  • I saw this engine in June when it was being restored. I can't wait to see them start on their ex-PRR E8A, they're going to paint it Illinois Central Orange and Chocolate Brown. If only NJ Transit had saved their ICRR E8A. I also heard a private owner has the first GP9 the ICRR ever bought.

  • I live in New York, but I got to see this engine a few years ago in pieces on the shop floor. It's spectacular to her finally have steam up!

  • I went to the event on Sunday. This thing is cool to see crossing Camp Creek or at the top of the hill! Great video, too. There sure were a lot of people at the event.

  • I shot the 3:50pm train as it pulled into the old Wabash depot in downtown Monticello. Great weekend, it was.

  • No, they combined with Norfolk & Western back in 1982 to form Norfolk Southern.
