  • To be honest... I have made 3 balls with plaster of paris($16 each bag) and it is a pain in the ass... It's not rocket science... just messy, pricey and time consuming... just buy a slater mold or make a fiberglass mold that can be reused... imho...

  • hm it seems like if you took the ball out the top would just fall through

  • if i wanted a stone at about 116 pounds how round would the ball be

  • hey i live in an appartment building, how can i make a stone if i dont have a "ground" to put it... ?

  • dont know what to tell u...maybe a friend will let you se there yard...to be honest just spend the 100$ on a slater mold..I bought one and I can pour a stone in about 20 minutes without the hassle of digging and all that crap.

  • You can use plaster of paris to create a mold of the ball, then remove the ball and pour the concrete. I've heard its really messy, so idk if it would work for you.

  • @tlast2012dude you putting a stone ball in your apartment?

  • Good idea man! I bet u can't wait to try that sucker.I want to make now haha

  • thanks!! if you do decide to make one...after you dig your hole in the ground, place a small piece of plywood on the bottom and put your rubber ball on top and procede with pouring dirt in...this will create a solid base so when you pour concrete in the weight of the cement wont sink in the ground..then it should come out perfectly round...that was the problem with mine..next one should be perfect!
