Oh, lol. I went to the islands first, then had to beat the pokemon league with massively under-levelled pokemon :) Wasn't as hard as i thought though, except lapras. That was ridiculous, didn't have an electric pokemon. :(

erm ok, what did i do wrong? On my fire red version lorelei's dewgong was lvl 64, and gary's blastoise was lvl 75. Every pokemon in the league was a good 10 levels higher than it should have been O.o

You don't trade them to anyone in the game. He got them by getting two copies of the game, and two gameboys, then he started a new game on one, chose the starter he wanted and caught 2 other pokemon.

Then he started a new game on the other copy of the game, and chose another starter and one other pokemon, then traded his starter to the game he was going to play through, so then he had two starters, then just do it again for the last.

Because fainting a Pokemon doesnt make sense at all. So next time you try to correct somebody else on proper choice of words, make sure you use them correctly as well.

I don't remember what level I got Pidgey, but I know that you can't use stones to evolve Pidgey to Pidgeotto or Pidgeotto to Pidgeot.

in fire red, I had: Charizard, lvl 48, magmar (from trade), lvl 41, articuno, lvl 54, venusaur (from trade), lvl 53, jynx (from trade w/ a guy in cerulean city for polywhirl), lvl 43, and dragonite (nicknamed dragon sky from mmsf, on account of his ability to fly) , lvl58, and I lost all but my dragon sky and artucuno,and lost DS, and gary's 3rd pkmn beat my articuno!! ~~

Best combination:

get venasaur W/ heat rock use sunny day the first turn of battle, next turn finish all her pokemon using solarbeam. heat rock makes sunny day last 8 turns ; have fun : )

go 2 one of the island from vermillion and teach your venasaur frenzy plant its a really effective move but need recharge, but hardly does coz its so powerful...hope this helps :)

a great tactic for lorelie... get a manectric or raichu (preferablly manectric because it can learn rainy day) and use rainy day and thunder, because thunder never misses with rainy day also in play.

its an old video, about a half a year, but just in case your venusaur and alakazam's moves are HORRID. alakazam should have something like recover, calm mind, psychic, and shadowball/something else. venusaur should deffies have sunny day, solar beam, razor leaf, and something else (earthquake, synthesis, etc) but yeah

Calm Mind would be for Alakazam, I use it now for Gardevoir (Emerald), and I'm going to add it to Bronzong when I get Calm Mind. Solarbeam and Sunny Day are too good tactic. Now I'm going to do that combination to Torterra (Diamond).

yea you should be ok

use your raichu to take out the 1st trainer lorelei, for the 2nd trainer bruno use your venusaur for his 2 onix's and then use aricuno or dragonite for his flyers, use flying moves if u got em, for lance, use dragonite, raichu and articuno, ice his dragons with arti, or use dragon moves with dragonite, and crush gyarados with raichu

The starter depends on your playing board. If you play it with computer, you can trade all starters easily (like me), but if you play with real GBA, you have to have another one to trade. I don't even play with real GB, because I can't complete the game perfectly. If you play with computer, you can ask from me some advice.
