i have to completly disagree i actually think its the other way around. i have a 97 passat tdi with 2.5 exhaust, .205 injectors, stage 3 chip, ported and matched manifolds. outside completely stock except for some peeling paint and rust lol =)

Ok, this is definitely a 4cyl with duel exhaust. He must have modified it. Otherwise, it is a 6 cyl and he changed it to a manual which would cost a fortune.

You have to admire the amount of work that was put into this guys setup. Even though some might think it is ugly, I think it is pretty fricken cool looking. Maybe a little too over the top, but at least he has matching colors on it.

actually manual conversion for a J-series isnt that expensive. you can get a 6 speed from an acura TL type s for like $400. and thats with no gears grinded out. you just have to run the shifter linkage n such which requires a little bitch work.

other than that.. yes this car is riced... to death.

I like the fact its clean, but I sure as hell dont believe its turbocharged. I did not see any boost gauge, but thats not necessarily needed... nor is the lack of intercooler, but these two items always indicate forced induction.

i said the Z car is heavy (300z, budget track car) not the 240. 240's, well to me, aresn't called z cars, just 240's or s13.s14.s15. imported 15y/o skyline is $12k CAD for the rb26dett and about 7k for the rb20det. and i didn't mean the nsx was a cheap track car, i meant to add that cheap parts and nsx weren't meant to be together, point there was that the nsx is a good car that honda made, i'd take the subie over anything we've mentioned.
