You are probably thinking of Dave Abbruzzese, who wasn't PJ's first drummer but was the drummer from 91-94, through the Vitalogy CD. Jack Irons was the drummer till 98 and since then it's been ex-Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron.

@Mulehead, thanks for the confirmation! I'm nor familiar with their previous drummers by name... good info. Pearl Jam just keeps on rockin'... Their live dvd fom MSG is a masterpiece! It must be close to 10 years old, but it's like a train wreck, can't look away..... I watch it probably once a week..... and if I'm doing the abbreviated version, always skip to Breath!

@kezman1974 well it was Dave Krusen first who was awesome but left to go to rehab, and was replaced by Matt Chamberlain who didnt want to tour, replaced by Dave Abbruzzese who just really didnt fit in with the rest of them, then Jack Irons, now Matt Cameron.
