is it just me or should the original trio get back together? I mean there first album was amazing and Cosmic Egg was pretty sweet but not as good as the first album. To me phase 1 just sounded better and more like "Wolfmother" but thats just my opinion.

This song sounds like a rocked up version of Ash Grunwald's "Money" guitar riff. And also really similar to "Man On the Silver Mountain" by Rainbow, (with Ronnie James Dio).

Wolfmother are good,although they love to steal material, or be influenced as some say.

Ash Grunwald does this riff better, and he's one dude not 3.

Well, Ash is great, but I wouldn't bother calling "Money"'s riff the same as this, as Ash goes up and down the D-pentatonian scale, while Wolfmother takes power chords. Being in the same key and using same notes can not count as the same riff in my opinion. That would make ALL popular music extremely dull.

MANY. And there are some that are better. The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream/Clapton, The Who, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Black Sabbath, and pretty much anything else in the 60's/70's. The Beatles are good as well, but they are the band to listen to if you feel like getting high.
