@pankki100 I agree with the most wins, I find the only reason some goalie get high wins totals is because of the team in front of them but Brodeur broke that record with the weaker post lockout team, and Brodeur has finally woken up this season and I beleive the Devils are 7-2-1 in their last ten.

@hockeymatt1994 I agree with Osgood and the NAby comment. If Ozzy were on the Cyotes or Panthers, his #'s would be sorry. Brodeur is definately on the slide. With respect to your opinion of Lou, I think you are off. There is something different about Lou this year. He is picking it up noticably. He used to drive people crazy b/c he was always let at least one bad goal in every game or every other game. I have not seen that for months now. He is looking CONSISTANTLY sharp....scary!

@woodss3 There is a very large gap between not letting in bad goals, and being the best. Ill admit he makes a lot of saves he shouldnt. But he is still inconsistent, still makes silly mistakes for a supposed veteran, and just doesnt dominate the net night in, night out the way he used to

Compare his performances to similar goalies like MAF or Lundqvist, and he just doesnt compare. Poor stats even with a powerhouse Vancouver team lead me to believe he just isnt that great anymore

@hockeymatt1994 I agree about his consistancy in the PAST. I'm a hard Lou-critic (much to the disgust of my friends).Today and now, he is much more consistant. Honoustly, he has not let many bad goals in for a long time. He has not lost a game in regular time for over 2months. (WOW! since Dec 5th 2010). Historically, he has been greatly over-played. The Nucks are giving him rest and Schnieder is doing the job. I think that is why Lou is picking it up. Keep watching U'll change U're opinion.

@woodss3 imho, put luo in the position of lundqvist, bryzgalov, fluery, vokoun, miller, etc. where there is less defense than vancouver plus an expectation to play most games, and he would crumble

He'll always remain one of the technically best goalies to play the game, but that doesnt always equate success. I think he is good enough for vancouver, and thats really all that matters to them, but he isnt the best anymore (IMO). I respect your opinion, I just dont see it, sorry

I agree with pankki100 take brodeur off this list along with chris osgood. The nhl only keeps brodeur around because fans that don't know anything about the game love him. he was good in his day, but the style of goaltending has changed.  he is just a show for fans now. you need ryan miller on here too. other good choices would have been halak, price, quick, or hiller instead of osgood
