僕を含めたほとんどの日本人は、日本の文化に誇りを持っていると­思うし、それが西洋のそれに劣るとも感じていないと思う。

それと、日本に生まれて17年だけど、僕はあまり「寝室」のこと­を「ベッドルーム」と言ったり「地図」のことを「マップ」だなん­ていう日本人は見たことがないね。

もし友人がそれらの言葉を普段から使っていたら周りから馬鹿にさ­れるだろうと思うよ。

Maybe you carried out a big misapprehension. 「Japanese are longing to our culture」 Thats not true. I was born in Japan and live in Japan for 17 years. But Ive never heard says 「寝室」 for 「bedroom」,「地図」 for 「map」 Japanese. If my friend usually use a these words,maybe everyone laugh that person. Im highschool student. So my English is very bad.Im sorry. But your japanese is awful too!

Rurouni Kenshin is a classic. It's like the Gone with the Wind of anime, except the samurai kick ass swordfighting version =D I know the first several episodes are also uploaded on youtube whenever you have the time =)
