Now that he's with Stratovarius people compare him with Tolkki and say that he's a lousy guitar player.. but i certainly disagree... I gave him a chance with Polaris and he didn't let me down, though he was nervous, apparently. now on Elysium he's even better! He belongs in Stratovarius. I root for you, Matias!

Though his finnish accent really makes his english difficult to understand

@givemetd I don't think so. Maybe he had a hangover, you know the kind of hangover which makes you feel like you're gonna die. Also, his english is not very fluent, makes anyone talk slowly. I don't think his playing is insecure...

@Zawone80s he´s had all the respect after he has joined Stratovarius.

Before that Matias was not too well known Finnish sessionguitarist so those don´t get the respect afterall.

After he has joined stratovarius he has become every fan to know. And if someon the it´s matias who´s the man in place to replace tolkki. Much better and cleaner and much much more personal.
