  • Believe it or not.. this is quite possibly where 'Pole Dancing' originated from. We (boys and girls) used to swing around and do hand stands on the clothes line pole when I was a kid - and we are talking like the 1950's.

Good moves ...and the 'instability' of the pole actually helps with balance.

  • you go girl brilliant moves loved the music ,

i pulled mine out the ground whoops , 10/10 loved it

  • Haha, just goes to show that where theres a will, there's a way! Brilliant!

  • your amazing

    truly.

    graceful

    like no other!

and this video was unique which is one of my favorite things!

    keep em coming!

  • oh wow i think i dont to buy a xpole lol....

  • Funny!

  • Oh wow. That was amazing, and great idea using the washing line!

  • thank u. uve helped me to realize i should face my anxieties and face my fears... and dnt forget, love my body :)

  • Really professional !

    I love your dance~

  • how can u do that in jeans it must be hard! I take pole dance classes and im constantly getting bruises on my thighs so i can imagine it must be hard in jeans. oh and u remind me of me im so obsessed with pole dancing that i dance on anything that even resembles a pole lol. and if i do see a pole my eyes light up

  • Your really good.. I like the washing line idea haha :L x

  • haha i love it x

  • I love watching your performances !

    You rock =)

    Cheers from Brasil,

  • impressive. ive been a long time fan. but you can do this anywhere. its like art. like in your natural habitat . out side just doin what you do. 5 stars

  • Iv Never Seen Anyone As Good As You.. Id Love Do This As A Hobby And Keeping Fit

  • This place seems to be Canada or Russia.

  • england

  • It can't be that Sunny in the UK balderdash. washing Line doesn't look too stable which would be a concern to me.

  • it really was sunny, hard to believe i know

  • omg!! iv just taken pole classes and really want a pole, you`r vid is such a good idea! i have a washing line pole in my gaden stuck in the ground!! thanks for the idea. ps, you look great! keep it up!! xx

  • i miss your videos =(

  • The attire and environment are awesome.

And the instability of the post combined with your ability to still be proficient with it...

There is something I really like about that.

    It makes things interesting.

  • adorable.

  • :d u totally inspired me to take up pole dancing :D an i'm learning from watchin ur vids woopwoop :D

i can go upside down now :D

ur the best ever on youtuve at pole dancing it jst showz ppl that u can have fun bt bt not do it for sleezyness :D ur so graceful at it :)

  • The coolest thing I´ve seen

  • I've always admired your performances, for a year you were the only reason I came to youtube, but this beats anything I ever saw. I have 4 poles like this in my garden, they are coming out next week, this things are rusted and shaky - how can you hold on???

    Are you talking agoraphobia?

  • i held on REALLY tightly haha, and yeah agoraphobia... not the nicest thing

  • why do you like the pole so much!? ;-)

  • to get way from my troubles

  • works for me! you are beautiful. ;)

  • when you mentioned anxiety probs, do you mean excessive inner energy or passion? I always have excessive passion inside me, and I feel like suffocating unless I get it out through dancing/exercise or whatever creative/physical.

  • anxiety to the point i wouldn't leave my room/house

  • Knowing the tiniest bit about you via YouTube.. That's the coolest thing I've seen this year. :D

That's like walking down the street, seeing a cool iron gate, and tricking off it. When you love something so much, it just comes out at random moments.

  • LOL wicked!!!

  • For some reason this seems to be the hottest video and I can't understand why.

FYI I like woman in tight jeans and I eh lying about da :)

  • LOL You are a legend Tara! Another fab vid!

  • haha i love this xx

  • great vid... love the spontaneity of it all!

  • WOA!! don't hurt yourself on that shakey thing!! that was awesome though!! lol =D

  • Ha ha, thats a cool idea. Good ting you've got jeans on!!

  • wow! thas tight

  • uhm. i got a diamond ring with your name on it.. :D

  • can you post it? lol

  • Nice to see you out of that garage for a change! Cool as ever x

  • your primavera is my favorite one...

  • wow great honey smiles Ginger

  • Hi Tara Karina , I love you , I took pole dancing up after having my first baby a year ago . I went to a few classes but needed amy own pole , six months ago, so i could train in my own home , I think you are really good at pole work and Ur my inspiration and i'm self teaching my self from you so id like to say, thank you . I haven't got any videos on yet , but hopefully soon xx

  • I love this video x

  • aaaaaaaaaaaa amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am your biggest fan!

    Totally fun!

  • your talented.. it's amazing.. can't wait to see what your cooking up next :)~

  • haha thats brave of you the pole looks woobolly!!

  • Wow its amazing what you can do to a poll , lol

  • loves it

  • HAHAHA! Funny! Thanks Tara, always great work. And I hope that you have conquered your anxiety attacks. Kudos to you!

  • I was afraid the pole will fall down :) but looks really funny. and of course you are good!- as usual:)

  • Hey hun, whats the song?

  • shake that ass - eminem

  • Is it an effective way to dry the laundry though? :o

If so, I'll get the missus onto it pronto! :-D

  • I have been dancing on an outside washing line for almost a year now....what I was referring to was anyone who has danced on a real chrome pole like Tara and I, knows the difference from pole to pole in this instance. Naturally because the pole is not stable in the ground with no cieling, even if you don't see awkward landings, believe me, the person doing it feels it! Sheesh, why would you think I would insult the queen of poling?

  • Geez! Was sooo worried about seeing the pole nearly falling that I couldn't appreciate the move! Got to see it another time, now that I'm sure it won't;)

  • lol love it! I have been known to attempt a few moves on the 30mph sign outside our local pub...not quite as gracious as you though Tara! x

  • The neiboughs are like . . . what the H . . .ha ha

  • That looks like so much fun : )

  • i have a flagpole outside..but tons of houses around me..maybe i should try a latenight run thr.prolly not so good to try to learn on a flag pole ?

  • I learned on a street pole that I shoved in my back yard. depends on size and material it is made of.

  • I wish my neighbour had your ability as she does her washing.

  • Talented.

  • I enjoy this vid very much, you really have the gut there I prob think twice either it's me or the washing line will break lol .

  • That must have been a little difficult seeing that the pole is a little bit wobbly. Good job though!

  • Wow, I would be so nervous to do something like that on a pole that isn't so stable. Great job btw.

  • Now that... looked like fun.

  • brill! after the parasol stand in greece and this one you have proved you can poley anywhere with class :o)

  • Awesome! I've been dancing for 3 years now, but have yet to try it on a makeshift pole outside, although I've been dying to. You've inspired me to be more active in being creative! :)

  • great video as usual! My pole has been down for two weeks now waiting for a part and my husband had to seriously restrain me from practicing on the only circular sign post in the neighborhood...lol. It was just too tempting!

  • Hey Tara you rock girl!! :-)

  • I am missing you like crazy! I can't wait for you to get a studio rental to pole in so we can all see more of your great dance work! As for the comment from KETO: "Ms. Goody Two-shoes", with 3 1/2 million views has been an ambassador of pole to a wide, mainstream audience. Her approachable, girl next door style has helped open the door wider for this great sport and dance activity. When I can't convince someone poling can be for anyone, I e-mail them a link to one of her fabulous performances!

  • It'd be fun to vid people's reaction if you did that on the street!

  • YAY! I was so exited when I saw a new vid from you..so is this the new pole??LOL. Im assuming you moved. Hopefully you can find a nice spot in ur house for your xpole. Cute video, and great job even w/jeans on!!! xoxo

  • I showed this to my friend...she actually thought it was me dancing somewhere else for a hot minute there! As graceful as u are, and as easy as u make pole dance look on ur x pole, for the 1st time I'm seeing so much of myself in this vid...with the awkward landings and all...it made me worry that I wasn't any good at all, but this gives me hope that maybe when I get my new pole that I can get to be as wonderful looking as u on ur indoor one. U STILL look amazing on this thing too though!!!

  • I'd be little worried about that thing pulling up out of the ground. And then you'd have yet another video of some hot girl making a fool of herself. You should start a new "hot girl NOT making a fool of herself" video genre.

  • WAY TO GO!!! You fared wonderfully lass! I am addicted to dancing on mine outside - desperate times call for desperate measures, lol :) Glad to see this, it makes me feel not so alone

  • yay great vid loved it

  • Jeej a new video! Too funny, I tried a streetsignpole once, which wasn't a succes... But poles in dutch trains and subways work really good ^^... never tried our washing line pole, but I think it won't survive when I try..

    Cool video!!!

  • I do it every day!!! :)

  • I love this!

yet another great video Tara :)

    x

  • Nice! HAHA!

  • hahaha there ya go!! ya found a way..lol.. great job

  • hahaha

  • TaraKarina..Great Work..5 stars..and Great Feedback for all of us to see..that you have not only Talent..but a Sense of humor..for even the silliest of comment.. blessed b!

  • If she's such a bore you could just remove her from your subscriptions ... I mean, it isn't as if she twisted your arm and forced you to watch.

  • Em why are you a subscriber to TaraKarina's channel if she bores you!! Or do you just love making masty comments?

  • it's cause i'm not shaking my ass - tara has class haha

  • disagreed...

you shake your arse with a sexy and fun style.

i've seen it more than once lol

  • tara just has class.

    plain and simple.

  • and who the hell are you?

  • Tara's back!!!!!!!!!!

  • wicked look fun... i have moved house and lent my pole to my mate so should be getting in back today cant wait :) x

  • COOL VIDEO LOVED IT!!

  • First, welcome back..Good to see you again, did you grt moved OK?

Second-Doing that in jeans?..Stretching and movng like that?..VERY impressive!

  • move was ok - still have no pole up though - not enough space - gonna have to rent somewhere so i can dance :(

  • That is soooo cool! Thanks for the new vid! :D

  • You crack me up....LOL. I've actually been having dreams of being in random places and jumping on dance worthy poles...LOL.

  • Nice day for it ;)

  • you continue to amaze me, great work!

  • Great idea! Pole dancing everywhere!

  • P.S. Love the mention you gave to us StudioVeena girls in your video description! :D

  • Ahh, I was afraid the pole was going to fall over! It was wobbling so much. But you're amazing, as usual.

  • Ha ha. Love it. At least your ground is soft now. You and Piggymunch could do dueling pole dance now....Both have outside poles

  • Cute little gesture at the end.

I'm curious -- what do the people you live with think of this? And are they your parents?

I think my parents would not be able to separate the "stripper" aspect, so you'd never catch me in the backyard like that. (That is, in the fantasy world where I can do what you do, lol!)

  • i'm currently staying with me mum at the moment - she loves what i do! :)

  • That is cool! (I hope you know I wasn't saying that like "OMG! WHAT DOES YOUR *MOTHER* THINK OF THIS?!"

  • ya i know - some peoples parents are pretty strict or not as open minded as others

  • For some reason, with that ponytail, you remind me of Lara Croft. All that unintentional sexiness :)

  • I LOVE YOU!!!!!! :D :***

  • Ha ha ha Tara! Thanks for posting this! I'll show it to my boyfriend so he'll know its perfectly normal!! :D

    Trena

    x

  • Outdoor poling! Waay cool. :-)

  • For some it is the only way to go - I have been poling outdoors for about a year now :) She does amazing no matter where she is!!
