i always thought Dionysus was a useless God. I mean, think about it! All the other Olympian Gods have cool titles like the God of Thunder, God of War, God of Love, and he's a God of WINE?!! I mean what's next, the God of playing with yourself ?

Most importantly, however, the intoxicating and disinhibiting effects of wine were regarded as due to possession by the god's spirit
