actually for a painless(instant) death by hanging you need the rope to be thicker and the knot closer to the throat(to break neck instantaneously)I would be surprised if that skinny rope did not partially decapitate him and I also doubt he died instantly(this is just info,I have no opinion on mr hussein, as I never met him)

Has anyone else noticed they didn't hang him until he was dead? His eyes open and close and around the 2:10 ( 2 minutes and 10 seconds ) you can see his mouth and tounge move. Did they cut him down as soon as they broke his neck? Before he was dead? Seems like he was laying on the ground right after the trap door opened. Has anyone else noticed this? Was it staged? Was it added cruelty? What is going on?

I know what im talking about, brain cells are dying in 4 minutes but muscels can move many minuts after deth. Deth by hang is very specyfical type of deth the dentis axis or ligamentum dentis axis is broken and moving wertebras are crashing spinal cord, Its take some time for hart to stop but saddam wos dead in 0,5 sec after hang. Only his body stil give some symptoms of life. Human is dead when his brain is dead no when every single cell in his body is dead.

Another thing to remember of these ways, is that they were not only used as Crime Control, but deterrent.
