  • One of the dudes from this band was at my high school last night...he saw my CBGB shirt and was like "Dude I played there!" so cool

  • they are just too good to be from usa

  • There has not been any time in Boston music history to rival the period from 77- 87 a shitpile of innovative and awesome live bands. The Hoods,The Lyres,HSR,Mission of Burma, Scruffy, Treat her Right, Morphine, The Atlantics, you could go on forever, so many different styles, but all kick ass in their own right. I would not trade growing up at that time and seeing all these great bands for anything

  • OMG!! Amazing! Just brought me back to a great time and place!!! We grew up in a great city with great music in a great time!!!

  • La Peste DVD is ready to ship!!! Contact me for content and ordering information.

The DVD features a full show filmed in Boston 1979, Six Additional Videos, and the Audio_Pix Gallery containing another six clips. Twenty videos total!!!!

  • join the la peste fan club on Facebook....lots of pictures...show posters....and yes videos:

  • @pravda01 I don't want any YES videos...I hated that band!

  • Your videos are the greatest and bring back the best era of rock in Boston and beyond. They make me too nostalgic!

  • your videos are awesome! I think I was at most of those local Boston shows at the Rat and Spit! I think I saw one of my friends dancing on your Lyres BFVF video!

  • THANK YOU PRAVDA , hearing " I don't know right from wrong" and " I wanna die in my sleep" just floored me ,had not heard those in so long I forgot them , was hoping to see "Last Chance" by the Eaters but love what you have posted , much appreciated !

  • Peter Dayton is my uncle and yes he still rocks this hard haha gave me my first guitar too!

  • I used to see him all the time back in the day with La Peste and the Peter Dayton band.....

  • Their shows were so intense, you'd dance so hard it drove the air out of your lungs. One of the best punk acts ever... Peter Dayton was so amazing with that SG guitar. A killer trio

  • I'm actually editing a DVD of their show at the Paradise Club in Boston 1980. The footage is being cut to the audio from the Rat Rumble. Looks and sounds....very loud and fresh.

  • And...when would this be available for viewing? *twiddles fingers anxiously*

  • Around the New Year...

  • Ah the golden age of Boston Music. I remember seeing these guys all over town. The Rat, Cantones, the Channel....ah the good old days.

  • THAT , was the fuckin balls !! made the club scene during this era with the Hoods , La Peste, Nervous Eaters , The I nfliktors and many other bands , never be anything like it again ........

  • my crew went to see the real kids @ cantone's around may '78 on a slow night. the band started abusing us for looking so bored. "what the fuck do you wanna hear?", the lead singer asked. LA PESTE!!! we screamed. he spat at us! lmfao!!! la peste rule. end of story.

  • @alienative1961 ...that's hilarious!

  • i want this song

  • Where can I get a cd/record/mp3 of this album?!?!

  • Ah, memories...

  • Thanks for posting

They were the coolest Boston punk band of their era and I was privileged to hang out with them at the Rat and bang my head to that crazy music on the cockroach infested pipes that run across the ceiling of that wonderful shithole

  • Damn, this version wipes the floor with the original recorded version. Kickass.

  • does anybody knows where i can find the discography or any info about la peste?
