    Fantastic!!!

  • Ah! Beautiful. :-) Olé.

  • He should've also played 'Tico Tico' & 'Granada' Jay LENO once said that he had worked with Liberace in the past and he'd been a very nice guy...

  • valentino's renditions were magic ........DYNAMO in pursuit,

  • Wawwwwwwwwwwwww!! amazing awesome incredible!!!

  • Wawwwwwwwwwwwww!! amazing awesome incredible

  • He was a master in his time, when it came to the piano. There is no other like him.

  • Gay or not, this man was the master of piano.

  • He reminds me if Gyorgy Czffra played Latin tunes.

  • Friggin ell, supernatural talent !!!

  • What a legend he was. Thank god for technology to see his performance.

  • @MassielMaite My thoughts exactly. I was thinking the same thing moments ago. He has got more talent in his left finger than most so called "stars" today. I forgot about this "star" until I saw him on PBS tonight.

  • @tunenut122 And he's elegant and graceful. His talent is not only music, but being gracious, and having a politeness and respect for his fans by working so hard on presentation as performance. I like your comment about the "little finger". I bet it had a ring on it too ;)

  • wow! what energy! What a mind to retain all these pieces! Absolutely Amazing.

  • It would have been fun to have watched the rehearsals ! Behind closed doors before the opening night

  • OMG MAY he Live on in our memories forever....Awesome man.Beautiful beautiful beautiful. No needs for words to appreciate music. nothing beats this.

  • OMG MAY he Live on in our memories forever....Awesome man.Beautiful beautiful beautiful.

  • Stunning musical coordination and what a fantastic arrangement.

Did the conductor DR, Gorden Robinson write the band arrangements?

    Anybody know?

  • I'm so glad Liberace was Gay! No straight guy could have ever pulled off this type of performance, despite the sour critics, let alone his ability to put himself in a "compromising" position and enjoy it so thourghly. Bravo!

  • The networks would never fill 8 minutes of airtime with something of this high caliber these days. Shame.

  • Vibraslap! Yes!

  • MERCI MERCI JE SUIS TRES RECONNANTE YOU AND LIBERACE ARE THE

    BEST LOVE YOU LISE ROUSSEL

  • spectacular!!!!!!

  • Who are the 8 idiots who dislike this?

  • @nlwilliams31

    Deaf people.

  • @Roelmaestro Throw in dumb and dumber.

  • @nlwilliams31 The back up band who didnt get paid ...

  • omg 5:00 - 5:09 A Spanish white - hair Hitler is playing the "cha cha cha" (the shadow of his nose looks like a mustache) lols nah im kidding. the same charisma although they are not of the same flesh and blood. Liberace is awesomeeeeee!!!

  • does anyone know more and the other three guys, or where i can found more out about them Thanks

  • gay or not... the man is amazing!!

  • Liberace was one of the worlds best, musicans, past or present ,this video proves that point with out a doubt. What a great performance by a master show man.Take care ADonovan43

  • fantastic =)

  • this type of music with piano is very crossover and experimental

  • La primera parte, genialñ, pero luego los arreglos desnaturalizan la música.

  • Whoever wrote and thought of all the orchestration parts for the Orchestra to play is a genius!!

  • Excellent interpretation of great songs! Vivan los exitos españoles!

  • I am so glad that he was within my lifetime. How fortunate for me that I lived to see Liberace perform. I am still in awe filled with gratitude. I miss him terribly.

  • Tremendo!!! Vivan los Caribe~os....

  • FANTASTIC

  • Malageña was composed by the great Ernesto Lecuona of Cuba. Cumbanchero was composed by Rafael Hernandez of Puerto Rico in Cuban style music. Rumba/Guaracha style.

  • he is unbelieveable. BRAVO!

  • Any pretentious highbrow who doesn't think that Liberace was a superb pianist should view and listen to this video.

  • And the guitar player went on to become a millionaire!

  • Did you know Ve2so that Liberace was in fact one of Elvis's mentors

  • @dwkasanova and mj!

  • I saw Librace in '68 at the Latin Casino in NJ -he was incredible! wore a different jacket with each song and for the finale his jacket LIT UP the room (all floor lights off)

  • bravo maestro, esa sensibilidad solo la podemos tener los chicos dificiles

  • Stellar performance! Although I think it's hilarious that he said "Olé" even though the original composers were Cuban and Puerto Rican... Lol, stereotypes.

  • What a talented musician - he worked very hard to get that good - and according to the tributes paid to him by Milton Burell and other top notch entertainers ... He was a very decent human being.

  • por algo Liberace se daba el gusto de ser extravagante, el q tiene talento no le debe a nadie y se puede dar gustos como los que el se dio..fabuloso el!

  • As great a pianist as Liberace was, Malaguena was written by Cuban Ernesto Lecuona, Cumbanchero was written by Puerto Rican and Harlem Hellfighter Rafael Hernandez both of which were prolific writers of classic music.

  • what is the lid to his piano made of acrylic or glass lmao i wanna know

  • @dj20051991 , I think its glass, Its Liberace!!! He was the best, and he had the best pianos.

  • @dj20051991 The piano lid is made of plexiglass. Liberace came up with the idea for thesee-thru lid during his 1950's TV series so the TV cameras would have an unobstuctive view.

  • I am so sorry I was not able to see him in person. They don't make entertainers like this anymore!!!!He was a class act.

  • I just love him right now!!! He also seemed like a really nice and amazing person

  • encore wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bravisimo yeah you go Libarce

  • We should all remember his wonderful talent as an entertainer, not his private lifestyle

  • maravilloso!!!

  • The sound of his piano is soo rich and warm. Magnificent.

  • Was It vs Freddie Mercury ? Still Liberace

  • Which is a better pianist. Billy Joel or Elton John. ? Liberace

  • to arkangel06:

First he did not say the music was from Spain, all he said was that the Spanish audience responded well to the program he put together with a "Latin nature" as a way to reinforce the idea that music is a universal language.

So please listen carefully before you "pontificate".

  • For anyone who is curious, this music was composed in Latin America by Hispanics, but the compositions are referring to Spanish landmarks and culture.

  • He always struck me as a very nice, sincere person who really loved his audience.

  • should be properly titled a Latin American or Latino Medley, this music is from Latin America not Spain.

  • This is a masterpiece!

    Arella Dror, Israel

  • y quien es el parguete este

  • 3:00 - 4:20 : just blows you brains out ... fantastic entertainer .

  • Wow he is soooooooooo good. Thanks for sharing.

  • WOW!!!!!! What facility he had at the keyboard! What a command he had of his instrument! Liberace's technique was so free! I am in awe of him! a billion stars!!!!!!! ******** Such a musician and showman!!!!!!!!!

  • @MillerMusicStudiosTV you just now figured that out ?

  • He was really very skilled and talented !!!

  • why are you commenting like this?

  • Not Only the greatest showman that ever lived , but a superb musician..thank God for Liberace

  • bravo!!

  • Wow...anyone know where I can get this on Vinyl or (sadly) CD?

  • I think Liberace was the best in the world. He is unique like Elvis Presley, Virgil Fox, Maurice Richard and what else!

  • I loved his colorful suits and costumes. I met Liberace's sister Lora years ago while in Las Vegas. She took me for a grand tour of his museum. She was quite gracious and so very kind. Liberace was one my very favorite entertainers. He knew what the very esscence of the word being a "Performer" was really all about. Nice video here and thanks for sharing it.

  • Simply great!!!!Perla.

  • Music and entertainment was his life and his life was music and entertainment !

  • Ah - yes! That would be a true thing to say. His generosity of spirit knew no bounds. His family and friends shared with me the most heartwarming stories about his kindness to others. It showed in everything he did. How wonderful to meet you here and share such a memory with you. God bless and all the joys of the season to you also!

  • Its sad to think that todays so called entertainers are a five minute wonder and only in it for the money. To them its a J.O.B Liberace was exhilarating and alive - even if he wasnt feeling well - it never showed

  • Indeed! I was told for his final performances at Radio City Music Hall he had oxygen tanks back stage so he could continue on. He gave of himself tirelessly. It saddens me greatly when I hear people slander him so, without any real knowledge of the man behind the legend. The world is a better place for Liberace having been in it!

  • Never seen a partly transparent piano like that ! And he truly loves to play fast !!

  • Liberace mechanically, all day.

  • Let's here your argument then. Do you know a more well-known pianist? Hmmm? Horowitz and Liberace are the best.

  • Pure Genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow... now I know where Elton John took his dressing style from!!!

  • lol

  • poderoso

  • My friends mother grew up next door to Liberace when he was a youth. She told me that he would run home from school to practice each and every day. He knew from the get go that he wanted to be a professional pianist. He was good at what he did!

  • A musical legend

  • I was priviledged to see Liberace in Melbourne Australia in 1985. What a performance. he was such a gracious man and very humble. Also a very lonely man, but gave 110% at each of his performances

  • This fricking guy (or gay) is not reading at all ... everytime you see him playing he does not read (Pentagram) ... shit .... Amazing ...

  • If there's music in heaven as they say. Liberace must very busy playing for everybody.

  • Give Liberace some credit. He played with the Chicago Symphony when was still just 16.

  • I know Liberace long time ago.Wonderful !!!!pianista.....

    God Bless you.

  • OLE, a genious.

  • I watched him when i was a child. The older I get the more I realize some people just have it! Entertainer Extraordinaire!!

  • Dedico esto a Enedina Boza, Armando Orefiche, Rosendo Rosel, Manolo Alonso, Xonia Benguria, Bebo Valdes, Ignacio Villa, Ernesto Lecuona. Recordando cuando Liberace visito

Cuba antes de la llegada del virus.

  • This man is profoundly talented beyond comprehension. At one point he glances up to the camera and lends a wink. When I was younger I didn't appreciate his talents. But now, thank goodness for youtube I get to see what I missed out on.

  • Liberace is a damn good piano player

  • I was privalaged to see him live out here in South Africa. Nobody could ever replace such a talent. What can one say.....there will never be another Liberace.

  • extraordinary!!!

  • Que PIANISTA , Gracias a quien corresponda por subir esta Joya.

  • I'm not being mean but did he wear a toupe (sorry not sure how to spell it) or was his hair real? I admire the talent this man had there has been no other like him. I never saw him "live" but sure wish I'd been old enough to go see/hear him. Thanks for the videos at least we have them to view and thank goodness for YouTube!

  • yes it was., he was so awesome on the piano and in person.

  • I feel robbed that I (pianist of 20 years) have never checked out Liberace before! The only thing I knew about him was that he was gay and wore sequence! It makes me sick to think people do not appreciate him more

  • Ole !!! Cumbanchero... one pianist to another; this aint talent it, was his God given right.

  • awesome, never have i thought that he was this good. all i read about him nowadays are all negatives, his being gay and all the closet secrets but not his greatness. salamat for posting this one.

  • Hehe

I'd never have guessed he was gay; just as well he kept it secret.

Seriousl though, he was a genius. It is astounding to see how fast he played.

  • I just love the way he works with the keyboard a genius of a very high degree. Talent is such a gift. Long may he rest in peace.

  • he thought that if his fans found out he was gay, that they would not love him,20 years later we still love him,if he only knew.

  • somewhere he knows and smiles

  • i feel the same way buddy, peace.

  • Awesome , Wonderful , Fantastic

  • He was one the GREATS

  • I also would not like to see this deleted in fact hopefully more to be included if possible forget the t.v. Keep up the good work! This is an amazing facility thanks again chaps.

  • oh...my...goodness...that man is incredible

  • please dont delete this one!! this is my favorite.. i can watch this over and over.. talk about technical talent.. good god.

  • Im in awe.. i had no idea he played like that! gay or not,, who cares.. good god.. his technical playing and fun doing it is blowing me away. thanks for all the video post! this just blows me away. man where has our music gone today. wow.

  • well im 35 and retired as an entertainer on the piano and was called the next Liberace even though i had never heard him play until youtube. well, he is trully the greatest with the pinano, not his clothes, but music. what happend to fast and technical music today.. it's all so depressing, but back then it was fast and drinilling rushing! awesome!

  • how fantastic thank you for posting Mr Showmanship for us all to relive and enjoy

  • I think he's dead 20 years now and a whole new generation loves him!

  • hes awesome
