BUilding this kit right now. RIght now I have some pretty negative feelings about it. There is so little color in this MS. I hope the Aile Striker makes up for the lack of color. The arms seem very short too... But I do love the layout of the instruction book.

I have to say rrobbert184 that you make great videos and please keep making them. As for your comment about how none of plates have the word aile in them, I think you might be wrong. I have just finished my RG Aile Strike and i noticed that on the sides of the plates where parts of the aile backpack are located, i noticed a very small letter "a". I have pictures and if anyone wants to see them, just tell me how i can upload them to youtube or your profile, or anything so people can se them.

I think you're incorrect about them not planning Strike variations in the future.  Just look at how they have a lot of parts that are different on the Noir and other variations separated. Shield, Feet, etc. They'd be stupid not to release any of the 5 other variaties of strike to recoup the cost of the mold.

If they go through the trouble of making the sword and the launcher strike they might even make an IWSP version, seeing how bandai recycles a lot of the plates to create variants of the suits.

I've just realized that, so far, Bandai has only released RG kits of MS that already have PGs. I wonder if that might be an indication of something or if I'm just reading too deeply into things... I guess I'll just have to wait for the RG after the MP Zaku II.

i hope that the rg line would be exclusive to 1 hero and 1 villain per season and series. for example, rx78 and zaku 2. aile strike and aegis. freedom and providence. destiny and infinite justice. strike freedom and legend. wing zero and epyon. wing gundam and tallgeese. exia and over flag/throne eins/that gold gundam. 00 raiser and reborns. etc etc. then go on w/ the other support characters.

@surpremekingjudai They already released a 1:144 Skygrasper and the launcher and sword packs. Of course, the packs were non-grade... Thankfully they were designed to be compatible with the HG Strike, but even so the fit wasn't perfect and you had to replace one of the Strike's shoulders for the Sword pack gear...  And that stuff wouldn't be compatible with the RG, of course...

@rrobbert184 Every single time.. I keep getting impressed with the RG line of GunPla. It really is basically a MG kit in 1/144 scale with multi-tone parts. It's really impressive. I bet Bandai is already planning a RG Launcher Strike and RG Sword Strike... triple dipping on essentially the same kit with a few parts different. >_< And you know fans will all buy it all.

Strike Gundam is supposed to be a sort of re-imagining of the original RX-78-2,as is Gundam Seed supposed to be a re-imagined version of the original anime,so thats why the Strike Gundam has that classic kind of design

@shadowblack1987 Problem with that is that people don't want to cut up the specific decal or emblems and either rub, or use tiny droplets to dry em off to transfer onto the sticks. Plus, stickers are much cheaper in production and price, and a lot of people are lazy and like stickers. Can't have everything, they say >_>

Well I've several pictures on the net, that show that the RG Strike equipped with the packs for the NG 1/144 Sword and Launcher. So all you'd have to do is do a little bit of painting, and you're set. Also if check out Gundam Guy there's a link that shows it with the IWSP pack from the Strike Rouge. It looks badass. I'd get the Strike Rouge just for that.

Well it's not the RG line is not the first 1/144 line to have an opening cockpit. The old HG 1/144 Kits from the 08th MS Team (the ones from the 90's) have opening cockpits, as well as tiny figures of their pilots. Check out the Ez8. It's got it.
