...ranging from Pop rock stars like Sting to New Age masters such as Stephen Halpern. The Temple is unique in the World and definitely worth a visit for spiritual seekers and art enthusiasts. The most fasinating thing to me is the research they are doing on electromagnetics and healing. Their modalities go beyond Reiki and Hypnosis. Too much to go into here but check it out when you visit. And, of course, they are WAY AHEAD of the game with their community building. We shud all learn from them.
I had the good furtune to spend 10 nights in Damanhur several years ago before they went public. Crotola and the other members of this artistic spiritual community are very sincere. Those of you into metaphysics will appreciate that the Temple of Humankind it located on a Vortex where they energy lines ( they call them synchronic) cross. My understanding is that it is also lined up with the Pleiades above ( like the pyramids.) They've had many musicians record inside the Hall of Mirrors ...
Did this guy purposely request the camera be focussed on his groin? Check out Damanhur and my balls. Oh thank heavens at 4:30 the camera just started to focus on their faces.
The swastika symbol in its original use and form was NOT a nazzi symbol. It is an ancient Hindu symbol symbolizing life. Hitler stole it, and used it as his symbol. There are more versions, such as 'clockwise' and 'counter-clockwise' etc. Google it up. Cheers. :)
I just saw that and I was wondering that as well. Personally I think the swastika needs a pr campaign, it's not about the nazis, they perverted it's original purpose. But that most definitely is a nazi swastica. Weird stuff man.
Damanhur is the most amazing community in the wold, amazing art work, own money system, daily newspaper, revolutionary conflict solution system through games, mind blowing spiritual research and results, fantastic school system etc etc. I stayed for a week and the experience was life changing
Yeah, visitors are welcome... 130$ just to visit the temple for an hour...if you belive about what the homepage tells you...you will have to get there and see for yourself. But i can tell you that to me i was a total rip off. No energy there at all to me when you are there !!!
I can't believe they would charge so much but then it must have cost so much to make and it was made quite recently, I hope the reason is debt. What were the people like?
Im not impressed from buildings. The "temple" MAY impress someone but i am not impress from the builder as im not impress ither from the builder of the pyramids or any cathedral whatsoever.Working power thats all.
Like everywhere if you have cash they will give you a special treat.
If you have spare cash take a look.
To me i prefer to take shops in other associations. I also found the disorganisation was not all right at all. I definitly cannot suggest to go !
@snowdnb Please do not take this as disrespect, but have you done any research into the construction of the pyramid, or the cathedrals? The reason these constructs were possible is not because of either money or manpower nearly as much as profound knowledge of geometry and physics. Maybe some people are impressed due to the labor and cost involved. But without profound knowledge these structures could not exist. THAT is what should inspire.

Such deep discussion... Come on, axavierd! How can you *make* a disagreement about such a generalization? People of like mind do come together. And gatherings of power also draw potential opponents.
So, both sentiments are true. Why argue when you make no salient point?

Recent allegations of sex abuse and financial fraud have out against the Damanhur cult. Type in
"damanhurinsideout" into google to find the websites of former members of Damanhur

it's a buddhist symbol

It's not nazi, the nazi's stole the symbol from Indian myth and legend for their own purposes.
The wheel of buddha is what it's known as

Without going out your door,
You can know the ways of the world.
Without peeping through your window,
You can see the Way of Heaven.
The farther you go,
The less you know.
Thus the wise man knows without traveling,
Sees without looking,
And achieves without ado.
