  • 1240 JY= Tokyo to Yokohama

    2670 JY= Tokyo to Shizuoka

    4000 JY= Tokyo to Nagoya

    5150 JY= Tokyo to Kyoto

    5150 JY= Tokyo to Osaka

    6300 JY= Tokyo to Okayama

    7440 JY= Tokyo to Hiroshima

    7440 JY= Tokyo to Hakata

  • I'm very doubtful about the price you get unless you forgot adding a "0" behind the figures. It is unrealistic to get first class shinkansen tickets for less than $100USD except for heavily discounted tickets, since the Nozomi pricing is usually 5-figures (JPY) anyway, even for standard class.

  • @cmbtrans The price for a ticket from Nagoya to Yokohama was about 10,000 yen last time I went. If you add an extra zero, that would make the prices he quoted almost 40,000 yen, which is obviously not right. I think he means the green car charge in addition to the ticket price.

  • @Hakuto0505 what...i took the shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto and it's 12600 JPY!

  • There's nobody sitting in it.......what is the point ??

  • first class seat charge is 2670 yen.

  • @Hakuto0505 That is about.. $29.51 U.s. currency. Not bad for first class. But how far does it take you. The range to be precise.

  • @ferretflasher How do you know there's no one sitting in it if all you see is the backs of the seats? There are fiver or so suit jackets hanging on the hooks, so it's obviously not empty, and not everyone takes their jackets off, especially in Japan.
