Im a Canucks fan,but Boston obviously deserved this one. I mean,In 39 years bruins have gone to the final 6 times and have lost 5 times in a row to finally win this one,canucks have gone to the finals 3 times in 40 years. So next year is our year,Vancouver is long due a stanley cup!

For those that might not understand why the fans were booing...

Canadian hockey fans HATE the commissioner, Gary Bettman. Since he came into the league, no Canadian team has won The Cup. That was 18 years ago.

If you notice, as soon as The Cup is passed to Chara... the booing stopped (for the most part... Bettman was still on the ice).

@DRaider90 the true fans did. the people outside rioting were planning on rioting win or lose. there were many people caught via facebook talking about it prior to the game final. the true fans booed bettman (not unusual), but when chara received the cup, it turned into cheering. you are going to have idiots who do shit in any city over a game, i was in vancouver for game 7 and a huge group of us just walked by it and left for the ferry. boston had a riot few years ago if im not mistaken?

@altfactor Go watch a video from the user dafoomie. There is video with no audio or commentary and just the players on ice and fan sounds. It's pretty clear when they stop the boos and start cheering. On top of that I think all the people in the background clapping kind of says a bit too. Most people don't clap when they're booing.
