Hello! There is a place right behind my house. It is an old middle school or elamentry school! There are claims that kids have been pulled through the floor and if you write on the chalk board walk out of the room then come back it will be erased! It is a great place and it is always open!

2. Is the along the old army depot east of hastings along highway 6. Some of these bunkers were sold by the government to private buyers in the past and they are accesible, However there is an old story of a collapse underground that killed around one hundred people. Sad. Whats scary is that for some reason the government covered this story up and local students trying to dig up the past have even been approached by federal agents! A lot of unknowns in this place, and lost spirits.

Im a Hastings Native.I know of 2 places that freak me out man! And both places have deep history.1.Spring Ranch Nebraska. Story of Elizabeth Taylor.100 yards south of old bridge turn west along irrigation path.There is an old graveyard, along with Taylor's wrongful death hanging in the area and further Native American stories of battles. Im not a huge believer in ghosts and what not. It's just not a pleasant place to be. When your body turns cold in the middle of the summer, you have to wonder?

I have heard of witches bridge, right outside grand island, between grand island and doniphan, and then GISH's auditorium is supposedly haunted, but I don't believe that one so much.

There's alot of stuff about the Kearney High School Auditorium. This is an interesting site because it was built only in the '60s.

lottie's grave outside of homer ne. dont remember the details, but ive heard she was a witch. ive heard she was buried with jewels and ppl have tried to dig her grave up and things have happened. a young kid once peed on her grave and supposedly they found him hanging in a tree. something about the bridge out there too. if u go over it 3 times something happens. i went there in high school and we got pretty freaked out.

The Regoinal Center in Hastings, the underground tunnels I guess are pretty spooky. It was a mental hospital. Altman Hall at Hastings College. And "The Peterson House". Do not know the location but I guess it is haunted and documented. Some say the jewish cemetary "Mount Sinai" is haunted. And our old house in Assumption was definately haunted. I won't ever go back there.

@heuertz21 Yea the Regional Center is a bad place to be by yourself. You mix in the old fashioned architecture and buildings, the remoteness, and sprinkle in some underground tunnels you have a perfect example of...What the hell happened in this place? It has been protected from state laws for some time now, so you cant just come waltzing in their without being questioned. Oh yeah, the barb wire is a huge plus! You stick me in that place overnight..I will shat myself...Guarantee!

theres maxon road, east of hastings. drive down it at night and see lights in your mirrors, turn around to see pitch black. theres also the spring ranch area on hiway 74 between ayr and fairfield. and theres a few places around town and the old naval ammo depot east of hastings.

I don't know if you done this one yet, but go check out West Center at UNK in Kearney. It used to be the old Turburculosis hospital, and has some tunnels under it. I've heard many stories of pictures rattling and shakingin some of my friend's night classes. One person said that on their way, late to class she said it sounded like 2 little kids whispering and giggling. Could be a line of fake b.s. stories, but it would be worth investagating if you haven't already.

Hey, I went to Doane (Crete campus) in the early 70's. I don't remember any Elkhorn Hall. What and where is it? And....what's the haunting? I'm wondering if it's some old building that has been renamed Elkhorn Hall since I've been there. I'd sure like to know. Thanks

The Old Hastings sanitarium's buildings and cemetery is definitely active. I won't go into details as it still sends chills up my spine 20 yrs later just thinking about that place.

Also lots of spots in and around Omaha that defy explanation but most of those have been previously investigated by local groups

Crawford NE, old house. I've seen apperitions of a little girl staring at me in the 2n'd floor window, I've seen claw marks on a wall in front of me, turned around, looked at the wall agian. No marks. Also my friends and I have seen limbs hanging from a window, and have herd a little girl scream multiple times.

I used to work in the Mystery Manor in Omaha. I was there for about 4 years and saw and heard a lot of things that was not part of the show. You should definitely check it out!

Have you checked out Lottie's Grave in/around the Homer, NE area? From what I understand, it's located on land within the Winnebago Tribe's reservation. Work used to take me through that area weekly for about 4 years and I made a lot of friends down on the reservation and around Homer. There's a legend about Lottie's grave and I've heard some pretty scary local stories.
