But, in Baroque style, the double dottings are traditional and permitted, they are not necessarily required. That's what I remember from my performance practice classes. I like the choices he made in that regard.

nice, but why does the conductor not use the standard double dotting used in the baroque period? The eight notes should be sixteenths in the first part of this.
