Tarja? Anette? Who cares, they dont write the music nor the lyrics. The real talent is Tuomas, Julius, Marco and Emppu. In Nightwish, both singers are "hired help". Anyone can sing good nowadays with technology. Now, try composing and you will earn my respect!

@FrankCamacho3 True, anybody can learn to sing nowadays; but, Tarja was trained to sing operatically, which sounds amazing when coupled with symphonic metal... Not saying Anette is bad, no far from it, but Tarja sounds far better in this instance; not to mention she (Tarja) gives every song she sings in a very unique feel to it.

Bands break up all the time and sometimes instead they fall out and lose a member or two. the only thing wrong with anette is she is forced to replace the irrreplacable. if you would prefer NW to have folded instead, so you can remember the sound you love, then don't buy or listen to their new songs, just be glad their egos lasted long enough to put out 5 albums before the change.
