Well, the point of view is called "Isometric," it basically means that if you were looking at a cube, you'd see the top, and two sides. Basically it's 45 degrees from X, Y, and Z on a 3D graph.

The style of animation is actually a way to draw diagrams, and is called "Isometric Profile." You can imagine it as what you would see if you were looking at the corner of your room.

The two walls and the floor are all planes intersecting each other at 90 degrees, except for that one point in the middle where all three of them connect, which is where the focus is.

The Royksopp video was much older I like the newer Areva Video although I dont support Nuclear Energy. You can tell the improvements in texture, and the use of actual human movement in the ad with this newer piece.

They're getting Uranium ore from Canada, enriching it in France, and shipping the energy production to China, where they're dancing to American disco. They stressed nuclear power as a component of the answer to the world's energy needs. And they did it in 45 seconds and gave you a song you can do a little dance to.
