Because only two people in the whole world own the soundtrack. Karl Bartos and me (the director). It has never been released or made accessible in any way.
PART1: well, you made a good choice of music with bartos if you are indeed baumann and this looks like a good documentary, even though i haven't seen the whole thing - only traces of it here and there. a great number of the songs though are traceable and with a little bit of patience they are purchasable indirectly.
PART2: some of bartos' published works are very similar to the things that seem to appear on the doc. For instance, i think that Bartos' I m the message is VERY similar if not identical to the sound of this video posted here by bigup234. Or some other song of that album. its been a while since i listened to it...
PART3: in any case, if you are who you say you are, try release the album. you will save a great deal of people much time in searching and much cost in purchasing... i already went through that, some might be spared.
I am the director and I tried, but could not persuade Karl to release the music. The title track is indeed an alternate take of I'M THE MESSAGE, but everything else originated exclusively from what I had in mind and what then became Karl's fantastic creation. I hope that this work is not available anywhere because I know that Karl would feel hurt.

I mean it's one of his secrets.
And I really enjoyed this documentary. Thank you.

I think the secret of Moebius' Art is, that he is not afraid of making mistakes.
It's a big challenge for every Artist to focus, that it is not about being perfect, but to be honest.
P.S. I really love the Blueberry Theme of Karl Bartos!
