He has done way to many things for to not believe in Him. I have heard Him speak to me. Iv even talked to Him as like a conversation. so no body can tell me its not real.

Some people say that Joe doesn't shred fast enough for their metal appetite. What I can add as a guitar player and a fan of JS is that not only can he tear the hell out of a guitar if he wants to but he plays everything from the heart and his melodies are angelic. Every melody is precise and so well constructed that I know he has a gift from God and his melodies will remain long after he decides to retire.... if he ever sleeps!

I don't have more faith than you. That's an ignorant statement. You believe in God while shown no evidence that he or she does exist. I believe that there is no God because no evidence has been shown to me that (s)he does exist. While there is evidence that life has evolved. It was not simply "Zapped" into existence.
So who has more faith? The guy that believes in something that may or may not be there, or the one who chooses not to believe until he's shown evidence?

@BarbaricGoose well, it depends on what you mean by faith. technically you can't really have faith in something that has been pretty much proven. faith is belief in something that you can't see or hear or smell or touch. personally I believe in god, however evolution does exist its pretty much undeniable. however, heres something to mull over, how did that first little single cell organism come into being that we all evolved from?

This was further noted when Jesus told his disciples that he, being the physical embodiment of the spirit of God and having all of his thoughts in the physical realm, was the Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end. I am, I always have been, I always will be. He is not confined by time and space as we are......It is literally impossible for anything to exist without a creator to have started everything.

Joe can shred just as fast as a lot of those guys. the main difference is that it is rarely ever appropriate. What it boils down to is taste. a lot of these guys can shred faster, but how many of them can contrust melodies and solos as him with the same precise phrasing? Most of those 'shredders' in metal have terrible phrasing. it's almost completely non-existent.

It's funny I seen on I think the Travel or History channel that they want to send people or they did send people to see what it would be like to make love in space as i seen the commercials for it all i could think about was Satriani and this album and song.
I must add that 2:24 is an orgasm to my ears I just love this solo i play it over and over along with Searching's whammy pedal intro and basically all of his songs ha ha ha.

Well, here's my 2 cents worth--I have followed Satriani for over 20 years, and enjoy most of his music. The ChickenFoot thing is for me a disappointment--cliche, and unoriginal for the msot part. I hope this isn't the beginning of a slow decline, but just a weird ,brief distraction from his usual excellece.

Personally, I have never even heard of chicken foot. I guess that after years of working i've left my guitar behind. All I know is that Joe has always had a way with musicality that is way beyond the average. As surely as this song conveys a mellow emotion, Joe is a God gifted instumentalist and I don't care if he's chosen a band called Chicken Foot or Britney Spears, everything he does is amazing.
