hey bro did you notice a diff in the way the car shifts after the tune? mine likes to shift a little higher than 6k.... (same car)

did the pulleys make a noticable difference?....what about the throttle body?...in acceleration?

@ROBBY639 It is hard to say because I got the pulleys, throttle body, plenum, gears, the car tuned with an sct xcaliber2 all the same trip to the shop. So of course the car was faster after, but it is hard to say what exactly made the noticable difference. If I had a stock gt mustang to start over, I would have just put a supercharger in it and be done with it. I put over $5,000k in other mods, and I dont have the power I would have if I had spent 5k on a supercharger/install/tune.

Nice run. I have a 2003 Auto GT with 4.10s that goes pretty well for what it is. has your car had the J mod or have the settings been changed with the tuner?

@leonardbullhock Not sure about the j mod, I know the guy that tuned it has a shop that all the fast mustangs go to. As in the ones with the twin turbos and superchargers. He tweaked some things, but I couldnt tell you what.

Nice run seems to get up there really good without much wheelspin... Btw do you think the 75mm throttle body and underdrive pulleys worth it?

@Blue03GT You know it is hard to say if is was worth it. The day I got the 75mm tb and plenum and the pulleys I also got the gears and a couple of other things done. Of course after that trip to the shop the car was a lot faster, but since a lot was done it is hard to say how much exactly those 2 things helped. BTW looking back at things, I wish I just saved to get a supercharger and not worry so much about bolt ons that ended up costing the same as a supercharger.

@Blue03GT For what its worth bud, the TB is a decent mod but the pullies are a complete load of shite in my book. A load of hassle for 2 or 3 hp? Its your cash though.

Did you consider 4.10s? Seems to go well with the 73s dude. Did you get all the mods done at once? How much differnce was there with now and stock? SOTP i`m talking thanks

@cupcakeflake I considered 4.10 but figured the 3.73's would be just fine. Most of the people I asked told me just to go with the 3.73's. I got most of the mods done at once, I wish I would have done a before and after video, but I didnt. The most I can say is, of course I notice it to be faster after everything was done, but I wish I would have either had a video or some track times to compare.

@johnnyjyng A before and after video would be cool. Ummm...its hard to say because I got a bunch of shit done at the same time. So I cant really say which had the biggest impact.

@johnnyjyng def the 373 gears then the tune the rest is not going to do much. under drive pulleys free up some hp but im talking 3-4 if your lucky but does increase gas mileage.
