We have a 7 month old staffy pup and she look just like your dog except she got only one patch on her back then the same patch over the back and tail then the same eye mask except she has another patch on the oposite side but only over her ear not her eye, same colours and everything, its intresting to see a full grown dog of these colours as i've never seen one like her round where we are. We are definatly definatly going to invest in a treadmill after seein how much yours loves it!!! Good Job!

thanks i understand how you feel i have to give my staffy away to good home because i am emigrating to a hot country and he hates the heat. wish i could take him with me but i know he just would hate it, and last thing i want do is hurt my dog had him from puppy. i know will break my heart when i part with him :-(

@Mike16921 thanks yes best advise never feed tinned meat if you have to feed tinned meat then go for dry brand like chappi otherwise you will be cleaning up the mess in your home
@cxmyqpte I have never fed any of my dogs tinned food, I feed them a good dry kibble and then twice a week they get some fresh fish, so the oils are good for the coat!! I love the bull breeds but i've never had a staffy before and boy, she is a diamond, such a good dog! Thanx for the reply!! :)

Lol me and my mum liked it at first and then was thinking it was abuse and that the dog didn't like it but then soon changed are mind wen we seen at the end that it wanted more, my mum sed imagine the owner sayin time for your walk and the dog runs over to the treadmill lol soooooo funny xxxxxx

it is actually not very good for them to go that fast on treadmill. Dogs although very intelligent can also be very stupid when it comes to what is or is not good for their joints. If the dog was out walking in the fields he would not run like that with head down and trotting fast, he would regulate the speed and head would be up more of the time. If he does that too often he will eventually get arthiritis in his joints.
How did you get him so bulked? My dogs are so skinny. Mind you my dogs arent the same breed but im sure the bulking idea is the same. Do i just stick them on the treadmill and make them run alot?
treadmills are great but theres nothin like a outdoors walk or run nexted to a bycle, dogs like gto be ouitside run where its natural and theres all the good smeels

I'd love to buy a treadmill for my Staffy to run on (Wouldn't harm me to get more exercise, either) but they are so bloody expensive. I walk my Staffy once a day for an hour (I let him roam loose; he's well trained and always comes when called), and he loves to run, so I know he'd love it. We tested him on a friend's treadmill and actually had to lift him off because he didn't want to stop. Well, better start saving up for a treadmill ^_^
my staff loves my tredmill hes become addicted to it even if we go for a long walk straight in to bedroom and wines to go on it most hes done is 8 miles he jumps off wen hes get tired tho i never force him like some people do but im getting him into weight pulling to build him up.

@mitsospower12 if she's a puppy and she lies down when you try to walk outside, she's probably not leash-trained yet. make her walk with you, call her and tempt her with treats that you know she really really likes (chicken?) to keep on stepping forward. make sure you're in a quiet area when you try to walk her. also try to put the leash on her at home sometimes and give her treats, so she gets used to it. about the running thing - it sounds like extra energy, you really need to walk her.
Ha ah, he STILL wants more when you turn the machine down, these dogs have a great work and play 'ethic'. They just love life and competition. True Aussies, heh heh

Yes the dog here appears to be enjoying the workout so no negetive opinion as such, However a high energy dog and a hectic lifestyle dont mix and a treadmil is not I repeat NOT a substitute for quality time in the park with dog and owner, If you have to out ur pooch on a treadmill to tire them out and provide them with excercise then you should not have taken on the responsibility of the dog itself. Sorry to sound so negetive but its just fact.

I'd love to buy a treadmill for my Staffy to run on (Wouldn't harm me to get more exercise, either) but they are so bloody expensive. I walk my Staffy once a day for an hour (I let him roam loose; he's well trained and always comes when called), and he loves to run, so I know he'd love it. We tested him on a friend's treadmill and actually had to lift him off because he didn't want to stop. Well, better start saving up for a treadmill ^_^

my staff loves my tredmill hes become addicted to it even if we go for a long walk straight in to bedroom and wines to go on it most hes done is 8 miles he jumps off wen hes get tired tho i never force him like some people do but im getting him into weight pulling to build him up.

@topendtrucker Haha i also have a bulldog and when i saw your vid i thought:Oh ok the bull terier can run the treadmill why not the bulldog?....after i putted him on the treadmill while it was closed he just standed there and watched then i opened the treadmill and he sat on it and then he flew all the way back.LOL is that supposed to happen?

@mitsospower12 hahahahahah well, i suppose you could walk him over to it on a leash while it's going very slowly and he might start walking instinctively. but as far as i know bulldogs are kinda lazy, generally, so he might not enjoy it that much

@dotchoo lol i try to but she just stops every minute.Most dog stop to smell something in the bushes or something but mine just sits there and lies down...also i don't know whats going on with her but when i turn her upside down she gets angry and starts running around the house like crazy

@mitsospower12 if she's a puppy and she lies down when you try to walk outside, she's probably not leash-trained yet. make her walk with you, call her and tempt her with treats that you know she really really likes (chicken?) to keep on stepping forward. make sure you're in a quiet area when you try to walk her. also try to put the leash on her at home sometimes and give her treats, so she gets used to it. about the running thing - it sounds like extra energy, you really need to walk her.

@MissCedarbridge1 haha your mad my dog only weighs 17kilo 40lbs so how you get the idea that he has gained 100lb more. have you ever kept a staffordshire bull terrier? they need lots of exercise keep them fit and healthy and they live longer and are more contented. yes i dont believe in training dogs for fighting that i will agree with you.

Yes the dog here appears to be enjoying the workout so no negetive opinion as such, However a high energy dog and a hectic lifestyle dont mix and a treadmil is not I repeat NOT a substitute for quality time in the park with dog and owner, If you have to out ur pooch on a treadmill to tire them out and provide them with excercise then you should not have taken on the responsibility of the dog itself. Sorry to sound so negetive but its just fact.

@shaunmooreokelly dont you look at my other videos? my dog is out with me 12 hours a day i work for water board testing water from streams so he gets more exercise than most dogs he just enjoys the treadmill
