The guys that designed the game did not pay attention to many things like screen tearing and that fact makes the game annoying and awful in my opinion...At least music is good...

Gameplay and story is pretty solid too, imo. I can live with a little screen tearing if the actual game itself is good. But yeah, better NOT to have to put up with that, especially with the power under the hood of today's consoles. No excuse!

@Zaranyzerak alone in the dark PS2 is such a copy. 1: the red tall clawed monster looks like the licker in RE: apocalypse 2: light progession, the last bridge, copied from Indiana Jones (don't which one) 3: the green monsters looks like the incredible hulk. 4: the cutscene at revelations when carnby and old guy are walking back 2 room 943, while they are walking... the vast black room, the lines looks like from AC2.. alot of similarities.

Yeah, just wait until you get to the driving part - my car literally falls through cracks in the graphics in a couple spots! If you can stand the tearing, though, it's a pretty decent game.

The changes are mainly with the controls, and a lot of other gameplay-based tweaks. The story is the same, the gameplay is completely re-vamped for the PS3 version. There are videos on some gaming sites that give an overview of the changes.

When I go to get demos I go into the search bar and type in 'demo'. Is this the correct method or is there a proper way to get the demos up?

Yep. For example, we don't get any of the video downloads that the U.S. gets (other than the PSN news and gaming ones), just demos, games and a handful of mp3 downloads.

Seems like a quite adventurous game to me though, so I'm actually looking forward to playing it no matter what.

The soundtrack sounds nice too, kind of 'Danny Elfman'-like.

And since my primary fuel is music and the soundtrack is in the box I got, I'll probably enjoy that too. :P

Apparently the opinions about this game are quite divided among both critics/reviewers and the general gamers, no matter which platform too.

I actually have the Limited Collector's Edition PC-version.

I didn't know the games, only the title, but I just got it because the whole package is pretty cool and I could get it for a good price. :D

But I will probably not try it for a while as apparently my computer won't run it well.

And that would surprise me with all the effects and such.

In this case, though, it's actually true. Not being a fanboy, it was the game developers - they really dropped the ball on the 360 version of this one. the PS3 version was completely redesigned form the ground up to fix all the issues with the original version, in direct response to complaints from gamers.

Wasn't talking about a demo and I am an Xbox Fan Boy, and it was complete shit on the 360, so bad I warned everyone to avoid it, then they announced Alone in the Dark Inferno and I said ha that figures they realised they couldn't save it on 360
