  • Maybe you should move where there isnt any mexicans or where they dont like mexicans like arizona

  • well said

  • Consider the reasons why people leave their country. People leave because of hanger, better future not to invade, unlike the peregrims that invaded this land without permision. But this is another issue. Mexicans are exploited in Mexico, they get paid poorly, the prices are just as US prices, and once you are over 30 jobs are not easy to find aleast the good ones. So, we must ask the USA gov. to address this issues and help change the empmnt discrimination in Mexico. This could stop the imm.

  • i agree iwth everything your saying. and every where you go you will see mexicans nd other races.. remember mexicans the "minority" is the new majority

  • Ignorant moron. Mexicans are not taking over Los Angeles. MEXICANS FOUNDED LOS ANGELES. It is white trash who invaded their land.

You say that you see a lot of Mexicans working as PAs. That is a rarity, since whites, mainly Jews, have controlled the film business for a hundred years. Those of Mexican origin, US citizens, have worked hard to get to their positions. You expect the original inhabitants of this city to let you walk by just because you're white? Get real.

  • @cybertubie not exactly sure....but I think that he's claiming they are of illegal status, which is unmitigated, presuming that in order to become a PA, one has to be a US citizen. His contention is that he feels threatened by the hiring of illegals in his industry which might not've been happening when he started. Albeit; there could be a number of reasons why. The digital age has allowed people of color to thrive in the entertainment fields / mediums, that otherwise suppressed them

  • if you're black then you r American DuH.

  • Great video. What you say is very true. I saw it first hand in Oregon back in 1992 when it was not yet Mexican infested. Don't get me wrong, I am not a white racist. I am Japanese American. This is not a race issue, this is an economical issue that is directly effected by a particular race.

  • you can't really say that your not racist when you say INFESTED, that shows your disrespect for them. infested relates to vermon implying rats or something. just be careful what you say

  • Infested has nothing to do with vermons, thats a cognotative attachment. Define "infested".

  • Revolting bitch. During WWII, cities were described as being infested with Japs. Yet you dare to describe others with the same terminology? Maybe concentration camps for Japs are not a bad idea.

Mexicans were in CA and the Southwest long before you assholes arrived here.

  • David, by reading your sidebar I think you are walking a fine line as to being called a racist. I'll take your word that you are not.I realize your frustrations in that you want to create art.

  • David is just making some observations. If his remarks were glowing and entirely positive, would you feel he was walking a fine line? It's getting so you can't say the word Mexican without being called god damn a racist!

  • First, I have no idea who you are. You hide yourself very well on your homepage. Second, I wasn't commenting to you. Third, I never called David a racist.I don't think he is. I simply made an observation when I clicked (more) beside his video and read the text.

  • First: there's no reason for you to know who I am.

Second: I just thought I'd butt in.

Third: No, you didn't call David a racist but you said that he came close to be called a racist. Called a racist by who if not by you? Why even mention it if you weren't thinking it?

I've got no beef with you, since our first testy exchange a couple of months ago I've developed a fledgling respect for your opinions.

  • Have we exchanged comments before? It says you opened your acct.Sept. 7th 2007?

  • Ok, David, does this ring any bells?

  • Ha, yes it does.Take care.

  • To answer your question as to why I wouldn't mention it if I was not thinking it, it was an observation.Again I will reiterate that I don't think David is racist.I grew up in the sixties and have seen racism against black people. When I was stationed in Mississippi I saw it first hand,

  • I even saw it in Vietnam in 1968. So It's a touchy subject with me as I believe, all men/woman, all races, creeds are equal.Racism begins with unintentional comments/statements and festers and grows. Hope you understand. Take care.

  • Yes, I understand. We all have our frame of references and mine are very close to your own.

  • Thank you for your comments. And the discussion within. I am only as racist as either of you. I simply am every little piece of humanity, as THIS is how I've created it. In order to understand racism, I've learned, you have to understand BEING and NOT BEING racist, e.g., love and hate.

  • nice video... i think your idea about hollywood transforming is pretty right on the mark.

  • You have broken through a plane in my mind in your mind. I had thought about moving to LA since mid college and buying a car. It is expensive lifestyling. We can take this internet connection anywhere and communicate to the world with it. Interesting observations about the mexican PAs, I am glad the film industry is integrating. I got your message, let's hang out soon.

  • Expensive and entirely unnecessary. At times, highly irrational and close-minded. We have the ability to do anyhting.. anwhere. It's just a matter of seeing it thru.

  • I live in Utah, and as you might know, extra large families are the norm. As a single adult, I don't mind paying my parts of infrastructure (including school funding), but I think it's fucking insane that I have to pay into my neighbor's 8 kids when it was their decision to over-burden the system.

Personally, I want a tax credits/funding to be based on the national ratio of taxed adults versus schooled children. Something like 1.5 kids, and the parents pay the rest.

  • Oregon sounds cool. Canada is good.

  • We need to shoot a fucking movie.

  • right.. now.

  • yes. zero leverage ... something cohesive.

  • make it happen

  • I'm writing the screenplay now, you want DP? I love what you did with Dominic, the traffic, and Runyon Canyon.

  • Would love to. Let me know more about this.

  • David i think you hit the nail here. What you are doing is going to be done my many's. A bubble will be created and there nature is to burst. But somewhere else at the end of the rainbow there is a pot of gold that no one has found found yet. Thats the place to be. Thanks for sharing your amazing thoughts.

  • Dude that is amazing

  • I enjoy your thoughts on the movie industry. a future long tern goal is to become an actor and it was really beneficial to watch this. take care!
