A bientôt. Cordialement. Miss Paprika
I guess one could replace the whole-wheat cousous with fine / medium Bulgur wheat (Burghul), it does look very similar. However you would have to boil it or soak it in boiling water as I think it would be too heavy / tough to steam like couscous.
@ouafa2007 In the US, I find whole wheat couscous in Whole Foods store which is like an organic health foods store. So you might find it in a health food or organic/bio store where you live.

sousoukitchen 2 years ago
merci beaucoup.

Thank you, sister. Whole wheat couscous ? Where can I get it ? And how is the taste ?
ouafa2007 2 years ago
I don't think you can find this in the store, in Morocco they prepare this kind of couscous at home, my mother made it for me.
How it tastes, although it taste similar to regular couscous, it's a healthtier version, kind of like whole wheat bread is to white bread.

Thank you, sister. What a pity. I know whole wheat products are much better for health.

She can use burgul instead !

@fur8e Thank you! :) I live in Germany and here are big organic
stores but I find only normal organic couscous no whole wheat couscous.
Germany is not so multicultural (except urban areas) like US, France or Netherlands
It's not easy to find food or nonfood from other countries.

No , I really thank you for your remark, otherwise my mistake might have gone unnoticed.
