How many pieces do you use, It looks like it uses 30 units. I bet you can use 12 units to make a similar shape or 6 to make a cube, without the last fold, can't you? Sonobes and modulars are my favorite origami, and many are very simple.
@Japple67 I know of a similar Sonobe unit and you can make a cube using 6 units, an 8 unit model (spiky tetrahedron), a 12 unit model (spiky octahedron) and a 30 unit model (spiky icosahedron). I imagine there are many other variations too and the same can be done with this unit.
Guys, din't even bother understanding this comment beacuse it's stupid. Voleo sam vas moja ljubav stara još uvek možda spi u srcu mome al zašto ona nemir da vam stvara ja nisam rad žalostit vas njome. Voleo sam vas nemo beznadežno pun strepnje i pun ljubomorne booli. Voleo sam vas iskr i nežno nek bog da tako drugi da vas voli !!
You always come up with great instructional videos and showcases. But I wonder, where do you get the paper from? I've looked around in Leeuwarden, but I haven't found a shop yet that sells proper origami paper. The ones you used here are properly squared, shiny and only colored on one side, as in, proper. All I can find here are the weak wood-paper children's folding papers. Doesn't work so well for the designs you show.
@dutchpapergirl Thanks for your swift response. Found some sits paper on the web indeed. It's not exactly cheap, but for these things, you just need beautiful and sturdy paper. Didn't know it was made from cotton.
