The Marth could improve by jumping from the ledge instead of rolling. Not enough grabs!! The grabs make marth good! Maybe more following off the edge too.
the marth has an issue with walking right into the haymakers.i have that problem too. Its like a mosquito going into a light that will eventually kill him, he cant resist the urge, lol. its wierd but im working on fixing that issue. But yes the marth looked a bit anxious, and his timing was off.
Snake's A button combo is probably the most powerful one in the whole game...I can't count how many times I got killed by that...
the dude's not a bad player, but I think he needs to learn how to recover better. but sometimes it's hard to avoid a Nikita missile to the back... (that's what my friend does)
but yeah. marth could use a little more counters, & wenever he did them, they were always at the wrong times. he made good use of the grabbing though.
He had a few options, he could of jumped from the edge instead rolling or atk from the edge. You'd think he would have caught after losing 2 lives the same way, but nope.
except for the part where CLEARLY, since this snake has camo, it's ACTUALLY Big Boss. this just makes me wonder how the hell he can talk to otacon though. OH THE CONFUSION
It's called Metal Gear Solid -2- for a reason. Metal Gear wasn't even the first game Snake was in. He goes as far back as the original Nintendo console.
yeah your right, BTW i have a good feeling that snake was in Brawl cause of most famous chars on the SNES (like pit,ice climbers,ETC) since Metal Gear was a game for SNES and the Metal Gear Series was famous they probably had to put him in.Lol thats my theory.
forward smash but the marth should have seen it coming.. especially when he fell for it twice before. i literally sighed when he died thrice to the same edgeguard.
This was so hard to watch because they're BOTH my favorite characters. But, meh I'm glad Snake won. This shows how much of a potential badass character he can be. Better than that piece of dung Sonic (no offense to those who like Sonic).
I like sonic but his character just seems to lack any good pizazzy moves. I really love what they did with Snake though. His moves allow for TONS of strategy, though he's still really slow compared to characters like Marth.
Im guessing the only reason you guys are saying the Marth is Nooby is because it looks like hes trying to use the style like marth was in SSBM, but many things could have changed
What a dumb statement, explain why marth is nooby? oops, judging by the fact that you want items in a 1v1 means you're either a kid or know nothing about fair competition in ssb.
Marth was pretty alright actually in the old Fire Emblem game. I somewhat remember that anime too. It's tough for a lot of characters to stand up to Snake.
... That snake player was nice, but at certain points that Marth player was HORRIBLE. He's clearly getting used to Marth's recovery distance still, along with being VERY, VERY unfamiliar with marth's aerials.
There was also a blatantly careless point in the match, where he used a down smash with zero purpose. Snake was already miles away from him.
Marth just... kept walking into attacks. Looking at that match, you can clearly tell the Snake PLAYER is superior, but Marth MIGHT be better.
