This is one of the pieces I want performed at my funeral! Outsanding performance! This one gets me elevated to higher spheres (and that's an understatement)! This work and the Requiem are among the greatest ever written in the genre.

Sang this yesterday in the Royal Festival Hall with the London Philharmonic Chorus. I can tell you this version by the Monteverdi Choir is Excellent!! SUCH a great peice of music! Thank you for uploading.

Eines der wundervollsten Sücke der Musikgeschichte! Als meine Frau (Lucie Ceralová) als Solistin dieses Stück in Worchester mit den Royal Liverpool Philharmonic sang, habe ich mich sofort in dieses Werk von Dvorak verliebt. Auch diese Aufführung vom Monteverdi Chor ist exzellent! Toller Chor und hervorragende Interpreten. Danke!

I sang this with the Metropolitan Chorale (NYC) back in 1985. It was not done in 25 years. What glorious music. Can still sing the entire tenor part from memory.

It *is* truly glorious music, and such a pity it's not performed more often. One of Dvořák's many overlooked but thoroughly masterful works, like the Requiem.
