I'm lookign for the song from the newest one, it sounds sorta like a song from an online game..something nitrome would use..any help? The song has no words.
"Originally," in western music, the only thing they had to make music was lyrics. Just because you hear Symphony this and symphony that, it must mean that they didn't have voices back then, and we utilized instruments before thinking about singing or anything. Original music, that us westerns care about and are currently talking about, came from chants. That's where numes came from, that's where melodies came from, etc. Look into Pope Gregory and Hildegard, see how many instruments they used.
I didn't realize this commercial concept was on going from the 70's. I really hate it so bad/much that I mute when I hear it. Finally I had to come online to find out what pp'l thoughts and comments were. I mean come on! Do I feel like eating a reeses now? I think never.
In my opinion a reese commercial should make one risk an Anaphylactic shock just to try one.
OK, this music-- and I mean this exact version of the piece-- gave me a flashback to the late 70s, like I had heard it on TV all the time then. I was about 8 years old then. Does anyone here have any idea what I'm talking about? Did a TV show in the late 70s use this music for some reason? Was it in a commercial then too? Do share any ideas....
It's the opening theme from starstuff, but it's not this exact version. It's much longer, and doesn't skip right from the very beginning to the very end.
This Epic song is Jupiter the bringer of jollity from the planets. By Gustav Holst. I played this in my high school symphonic winds band and let me tell you that this song IS THE SHIT! Clark McAlister transcribed this for wind band and it was so good.
This song is so amazing it makes my kidneys pee a little, it's so wonderfully epic but it has that starwarsy touch, yet it's like an old superhero show, I question why god made a song so disturbingly awsome, It's not even a guilty pleasure, IT'S JUST A DAMN GOOD SONG!.....I'm going to go buy some Reese cups now... (^.^)
Mars: Bringer of War would have worked much better than Jupiter: Bringer of Jolitity. Just my 2 cents...But I do agree, Holst is definitely spinning in his grave...
i gave up reese cups for lent that was a bad decision im catholic

In reference to the description, Reese's is owned by Hershey... not Mars, right? If it were Mars, that would make use of Jupiter funnier, I think.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Then it's not a song if it doesn't have words. It's a piece, it's a chart, etc. Songs have words and lyrics.

You know, you COULD try answering me, smartass.

But I don't know what it is, I haven't even seen the newest one. Or I don't believe so, anyway.

It's confused a lot lately. The music of Jupiter is also used in Sarah Brightman's "Running" song from her latest album Symphony.
