Look up the number of times Israel has offered very generous settlements. The vast consensus, especially amongst Hamas, is that there should be no Israel, not that there should be peace.

I for one am going to try to learn more about this issue. I am sorry to use that word, 'issue', as if it does not require a more thoughtful word. I only know that I am opposed to war and killing of innocent children.. no matter who is doing it.
